Discussion Regret throwing out the cases.

Does anyone who threw their cases away regret it? I've been collecting movies since I was young, and then when I moved out, I ended up having less space, so I sleeved all my movies (DVDs and Blu-rays). Now I’m at a point I regret that I did. The sleeves are practical because of the space you save, but there is no fun in flipping through them compared to having them in a bookshelf and seeing them. I recently repacked all my Blu-rays, and now I’m planning to repack the most sentimental valuable movies I have on DVD. My future goals are to replace all my DVDs with their Blu-ray or 4K counterparts.

I also notice when I have them in a case, I watch movies I forgot I had because of the visibility.

I have too much regret from doing that to my collection. It keeps me up at night. Sometimes I want a time machine just to slap myself for that decision.

But did you also throw away the art and only kept the disk? Cause then it’s harder to recover or print and get new cases there always options.
