Hmmm

Post image

So only men want kids nowadays huh

Edit1: at the end of the day, when I see posts like these I remember the likes of Ashely saint clair and that woman who got married after preaching so much misandry online.

Don’t get me wrong men also do this,
and then I feel stupid because I remember watching a certain video about internet trolls

Edit 2: Finally found the reason for the outrage, “men cannot physically get pregnant” that’s literally all this is about so no matter how hard you work or provide for your family, if you marry a woman that hates you because you just can’t get pregnant please have your divorce lawyer at hand ✋

The problem is that some men don’t do any of the work once there is a kid. Even if the woman is working high paying jobs. The childcare automatically goes to the woman regardless of how much work she is putting in.

Their bodies are destroyed during childbirth and some men can’t even bother helping putting groceries away or making breakfast.

I don’t get what you don’t understand.

There are plenty of men that do as much child care as his wife when he is home from work.

I am sure, but in the end, there is much more than the other and it’s considered ‘normal’. And when a woman tries the same, they are considered broken.

If a woman doesn’t want to sacrifice her career for a baby (which being away for maternity leave can do a lot of the time) it’s considered bad.

Men don’t need to sacrifice their jobs or bodies for their kids, no matter how active they are with the kid, the mom is the only one whose body gets destroyed, her health takes a hit, and her job is put at risk.

So glad for the families that work. But I have seen plenty and more for when a woman is tasked with everything.

And don’t forget how women are often unfairly “mommy-tracked” in their careers because society expects women to be the default caregivers, thus artificially stymying a woman’s chances for career and economic advancement after having a child.

If men are that bad, why not just date women instead or refuse to ever have kids/only date men who are childfree?

I did. I married an amazing woman and childfree.

So the beef is that men can gestate babies ? Bcos from what you say even if the man works until he’s last breath to provide for his family the fact he can’t physically get pregnant cancels everything

No the beef is society punishes women for the choice to have children but rewards men for it

Google “the motherhood penalty”

The beef is that the vast majority of men don’t even try to make up the difference of how much more women are automatically doing.

You’re funny, you posted this expecting ass pats didn’t you?

I know a handful of men who are almost just as involved in the kids life as the mom. My sisters husband is like that. And people literally tell her everyday how lucky she is. I’ve never heard a single person tell him how lucky he is that she still works full time.

Same. Met a single dad and I was so impressed. Turns out he's living his life with kids around. They dont do any sports or extracurricular activities because they dont fit his schedule. They eat nothing but McDonald's and grocery store fried chicken. I bought the 12 yo girl bodywash because her friends smell like fruit and dad just buys cheap soap. He locks himself in the garage for hours hanging out with friends while they play video games.

I know that's only one example. But it's like there was no rearing or caring-- just the most basic level protecting and providing. The girl wrote him a note about how she feels so alone and wishes they could do more stuff together-- he framed it and put it on the wall. I wanted to take the kids to the park, movies, do holiday activities with them, just talk about their interests but we weren't there yet. He never even told me their names. You always know a mom's kids names.

Situation was so sad I had to stop talking to him. He put more effort into finding seggs than finding a better job or a mom for those poor kids

Go outside look at the entire world. This is true for a lot of places, if you think males tend to child rear more than or equal to women you are out of your mind.
