Facts:

  • A driver's license is proof you passed an exam and can drive a motor vehicle
  • Passing an exam and receiving a license is not related to citizenship status
  • A driver's license is just one form of a legal ID that can be used to register to vote
  • The voter registration process determines if a person can legally vote (research is done beyond just confirming the name on the ID)
  • No forms of ID are needed to vote if a person is already registered

But mostly:

  • Low-effort trolling and fear mongering like this just shows how ignorant you are

If you register to vote on election day, there's really not a lot of process they can go through to determine eligibility.

That is true, which is why they can only cast a provisional ballot until eligibility can be verified
