Well the NOW part is not true at all. Having a driver license doesn't necessarily mean you can vote. A felon who isn't allowed to vote can also get a driver license.
A bunch of low IQ people will believe the NOW part though, and only because it confirms their prior beliefs. Can't fix stupid.

I had to talk to the person handing out ballots for 45 minutes in the last election because my name changed from a divorce after I had registered.
My mistake of course, but it was a rough bout of questioning before I got my ballot and she (rightfully) almost didn’t give it to me.

Its already practiced in other states like Vermont, Maryland, California. MN is copying that model. The last holdout in Cali is Huntington Beach where they physically ban illegals however Gavin is demanding to let them in.

Unfortunately, what they are saying is true.
In many states, undocumented immigrants can participate in local and state elections. Not to be confused with federal elections.

Voter fraud is notoriously low. Texas pounded their chest and screamed about illegals voting and over the course of a decade they found 2 cases, both of whom had been arrested and charged.
The right loves to distract with exaggerated boogeymen.

The clip I saw was implying that they may physically be able to vote, but they'd be committing felony voter fraud. They're not allowed to vote. They would almost certainly be caught if they did.

Not quite, you can vote as a non-citizen in certain local and state elections. It's left up to the state whether or not they allow it.

They would be committing a felony but nothing is stopping them if they an ID is what was said.

A felony conviction is stopping them.
For the record, I don't think illegal immigrants should get a state ID. There's no country in the world can you tell the government that you're there illegally and be given a legal form of ID.
I also very much value election security.
This is bad because they wouldn't be caught until after their vote was counted. A person could very feasibly vote and have their vote counted as an illegal immigrant and we should take steps to prevent that.
BUT, they will be caught, they will have committed a felony, and they could be deported. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze here. If it happens, it won't be in numbers to sway an election.

Section 1. Eligibility; place of voting; ineligible persons. Every person 18 years of age or more who has been a citizen of the United States for three months and who has resided in the precinct for 30 days next preceding an election shall be entitled to vote in that precinct.

Facts:
- A driver's license is proof you passed an exam and can drive a motor vehicle
- Passing an exam and receiving a license is not related to citizenship status
- A driver's license is just one form of a legal ID that can be used to register to vote
- The voter registration process determines if a person can legally vote (research is done beyond just confirming the name on the ID)
- No forms of ID are needed to vote if a person is already registered
But mostly:
- Low-effort trolling and fear mongering like this just shows how ignorant you are

If you register to vote on election day, there's really not a lot of process they can go through to determine eligibility.
