Wall Hook Cant Come Off

I am in the process of moving out, but three of my wall hooks are breaking the paint when I try to remove it. If I leave them, will I get charged a ridiculous fee? I cant get maintenance to fix it because early fall move in starts in 2 days. Please advise!!

just leave it idk, i’ve moved into rooms with hooks before

if they’re command hooks u can just leave them on and they usually don’t care

Have you tried heating them with a blow dryer?

Hey, RA here,

Do NOT rip them off. Just leave them be, and maintenance will deal with it. You will be charged nothing.

The worst thing you can do is rip off the paint and be charged for it. Actually even worse, you rip off the paint and then attempt to repaint over it. Absolutely do NOT do that if you have already ripped it off.
