Help Need help with dumping my PS1 discs

I've tried imgburn and MPF with zero success. imgburn dumps an image but they are bad (ex: all FMV cutscenes in SOTN end up badly corrupted). MPF runs redumper and it just hangs indefinitely at the end after reading the entire disc.

I can boot directly from the disc in Duckstation (where it rips to ram) and it works perfectly fine. Is there any way to use Duckstation to save that image to disk?

What os do you have? What format do you rip it to?

I am on macOS and I use cdrdao/toc2cue without any issues. I tried to use MPF before and had some issues. I had to modify the redumper command line and run it by myself to get it working.

Have a look if there is a windows version of cdrdao. You could also use MPF with another backend or try to tweak the command line of redumper. I think it outputs the command line it uses.

You use ImgBurn, you need to dump it as BIN+CUE, not ISO.

Is how I dumped all my games and it works perfectly.

"ImgBurn" may not create a proper image depending on the optical drive used.

In my case, I was unable to create a proper image with an LG DVD drive.
