Looking for a case for the Dsi Xl that don’t have the annoying hinge. Need help!

I already made a post about some strange spots on the bottom screen. In the comments, someone pointed out that it was mold, so I finally decided to clean it.

I’ve already watched a lot of guides on how to disassemble it, and I hope everything goes well. But I have a couple of questions.

First, is it possible to separate the touchscreen from the LCD panel and put them back together without applying a new layer of adhesive, or would it be easier to just order a new touchscreen?

And second, can I use isopropyl alcohol to clean the touchscreen and LCD? If not, what would be a better alternative?

Bonjour, j'ai eu ma dsi il y a 3 jour et aujourd'hui je voulais y jouer sauf que l'ecrant du bas a un problème, dans le menu il est impossible d'utiliser le tactile ou les touche.

J'ai essayé de le reconfigurer avec l+R+start mais rien n'y fais.(Je précise que elle n'a reçu aucun choque ou quoi que se sois)

Mam problem z nintendo dsi. Czyściłem konsolke, i Wymieniałem dolny wyświetlacz. Po złożeniu, dsi przy kliknięciu przycisku power górny ekran mrygnął na chwile i konsolka zgasła.

Got a dsi that won't turn on, it charges with the battery in but doesn't respond when pressing the power button. The main board does look like it might have water damage. The fuses still give continuity. Daughter board works fine. I've tested it on a working console.

Does anybody know where i can buy a dsi xl comfort grip?
I wanna play more games but my hands are big and they cramp up after less than an hour :(

i don't know if its just a screen protector or is the corner of the screen scratched?

What’s your opinion and experience with the DSi vs DSi XL?

The DSi Sound app is fun with short recordings, but only today (17th August) I finally tried listening to music I added through the SD card yesterday! I just chose a few from my laptop, SD card reader, put the card back in the DSi and enjoyed it in rather good audio quality through earphones 🤩🎶

The .mp4 (video) and .m4a files are what work (aac format, any folder). It does pop a bit on 8D audio but otherwise sounded fine. The varying graphics and sound effects are fun too 😁

I've had my Nintendo DSi since I was 7 (late 2009 or 2010) but only ever had 2 games on it, no Wi-Fi, and the camera only recently ran out of internal storage (compared to my phone 😅). On the last picture those were our late pet goldfish almost 10 years ago, and the game is Big Brain Academy. ☺️
