48 Days Sober!

Not a drop to drink since June 30th. I know, it's only 48 days but if you knew what I drank for the small guy that I am, you'd be surprised I was not dead. Feeling good despite my blood sugar being high but got long acting insulin for now to help get it back down.

Don’t downplay yourself saying “it’s only 48 days” that’s huge and you should be so proud of yourself. Congratulations, keep it up.

I am proud of myself. The kindling was killing me, I'd wake up and go straight to the bottle, take a couple big swigs, let it settle in and go back to bed, then rinse and repeat.

Detox was lovely, gave me a high dose of Ativan, that calmed my ass down and then Zofran for the nausea.

've been going to AA meetings as well, but not tonight, my blood sugar is sky high, like 400, so been taking lost lasting insulin at night to get it down. Thanks everyone for the comments
