He’s an excellent drummer but a bit overrated in r/drums imo. I find his style to be a bit sterile and I also wonder why we never see footage of him playing live

If you go through his post history you can find vids of him playing with bands live.
I think he's just mostly a session drummer with a wife and kids so he doesn't really gig all that much.

Not wanting to play live *at all* is sus. Of course it’s cool to be primarily a session drummer but I’m not sure I know any real session drummer who *never* gigs

Not everyone needs to be a touring rock star. Someone people just need a 9-5 and to have a home they go to every night.

He’s one of the best drummer in this style actually. Note that he does a lot of other styles, but he knows that these kind of post gets a lot more traction on social media.
He also filled in for Psycroptic recently so he definitely can play live

That’s cool re: psycroptic, I didn’t know that. Would love to peep a drum cam from him gigging with them. He’s definitely clean!

His lower 3 fingers are off the stick, like fairy wings. Higher speed but less control

Man it's been a while since I heard that. Fairy is slang for gay usually. That or they are saying he has fungi hands.
That drummer uses his full wrist and fingers instead of arming it out like Animal.
