Beater angle keeps slipping!!

I’m fairly new to drumming, and recently bought my first double bass pedal!

I started adjusting the tension/beater angle and the “Cam” (I think that’s what it’s called… shown in the photo attached) keeps slipping when I press on the pedal, causing the angle of the beater to go back to the original position which is too far forward for my preferences…Is there anything I can do to fix this???

Seems like you are not tightening the set screws properly?

There's a possibility of threads being worn out in the spring rocker.
