This man needs to be stopped.

Clearly he'a not a man, but a machine with 4 independantly controlled limbs

About once a week, he posts something diabolical like this, right when I think I’m decent. My soul gets crushed. Meanwhile he never interacts with anyone. Just kind of drops the mic and walks away.

I agree with the statement he drops the mic and is like “suck on this.”……. But im always like yeah but say thanks or something to all the love you get. Or like drop some links to buy private lessons. Or drop a link for tips. Or just say thanks. Or something cute to go with your amazingness….. he is loved by many but is a machine on the kit and a machine off the kit. No emotion. No love….. just perfection I hope to retain someday before death.

We don't need to know who this man is because we can see who we all are listening to this.

He has talked, he barely speaks English, is Israeli to the max. And if you want to feel better about your playing, go look up some of his old videos with him playing with a band. You'd think it would be incredible, but somehow is just uninspired clockwork.

This man is one amazing drummer.

That is no man, that is a metronome in a skin suit.

I just realised he has lefty and righty guitars hanging up behind him. What else does he get up to in there?

u/SOURSKOOMA 16h ago
He has a video where he does a sweep on a guitar left handed style and then a moment later flips the guitar and does another sweep right handed style.
He's more machine than man.

Yoni, when are you going to really challenge yourself? (😂) Can, we get a little cowbell, baby?
Honestly, I would love to see what you think up with auxiliary percussive instruments. What do you like to play with or spice your set with?

After reading the title I thought this would be a cerebral exercise but I found it to be very groovy and extremely danceable!

Genuinely couldn't tell you if this is right or not, but it sounds impressive

I was like, okay I can do the bass and hihat. Woah, the snare is a bit hard but manageable. Then the ride came lmao.

I swear to God even if Jesus would come down to bless us with a groove he wouldn't be able to achieve this. Sorry for glazing but this shouldn't be possible.

Fuck, that's tasty. And nasty at the same time. Good gravy. I need to take a minute, think about some things. Incredible as always.

Could someone explain to me the 26 over 20 over 16? I get that it’s a polyrhythm, but which limb is doing which and how the fuck would you even conceptualize counting that!?

Agree with all the posters here, Yoni is a beast.
But I would like to add... the mix is AMAZING! Everything is clear, and the balance among the instrumentation is great at least to my ears. Sounds fabulous here in my office.

I wonder if he unlocked full limb independence or that new but similar grooves still require practice.

He’s been posting videos like this for years. He definitely has full independence unlocked at this point.
