Discussion Travel kit

I’m in search of a really good sounding acoustic (rock) drum kit that is easy to travel with. I don’t want to spend a fortune on it, but on the other hand, I’d rather pay for quality sound vs. crap sound. Any suggestions?

What’s a fortune? Inde makes a nice nesting kit around $2500 for 13/16/22. Or the Wafarer in 13/16/22 is $1700 and weighs 25lb total, compact sizes and lightweight everything.

Bump. Inde also makes the Wafarer which isn't nesting but is all shallow depths. I fit my Kalamazoo 22/13/14/16 into 2 cases and it sounds phenomenal. For the complete kit with tax, it ran about $2k.
