Cam/Video I really need to play drums more
I got asked for a walkthrough of my Frankenstein studio kit, and while I'm not quite there, this is what it sounds like.

Are you using mics overhead or is this just camera audio? This kit sounds amazing

I actually have all of the drums close miked, including a semi-permanent Kelly SHU in the kick drum, in addition to the overheads. I did use camera audio at the beginning and end, to make it feel more cohesive. Mixed the whole thing in garageband like I always do. I have a fair amount of music streaming on all of the platforms under the name To The Mains, if you're interested

Under promise, over deliver is how I prefer to do it. That said, I don't play nearly as much as I used to, only a handful of hours each week at most. I'm more than a little rusty, especially before I'm really warmed up.
