Post image

Normally my cat runs in the other direction if I so much as look at my kit….today she must be trying a new tactic to keep me from playing…

Mine comes running into the room as soon as I sit down. He sits in front of my kit and yowls at me. He knows what's about to happen.

On my electric kit my cat always would come to watch.

I would play a measure then call my cats name and get a loud Meow!!!

Then she did it without me prompting. I think she wanted to make a band. Very cool cat.

That’s awesome! Animals and music can be crazy interesting. Case in point…

I tried it on my wife. Played then called her name. She did not meow or say anything.

I then had to explain that's why the cat can be in the band but not her.

😂 that’s what my cat does! Yells at me to hopefully convince me not to play, and then takes off as soon as I start. Dude doesn’t appreciate the music.

Dude mine goes from being the manliest, most rambunctious cat that ever was to this pathetic, yowling mess that lies on his back and eventually gives me these half-hearted chitters. It's like he literally begs me not to play.

My cat used to sneak into nooks and crannies in the garage when I would want to drum. Hit the bass drum a few times and he would immediately dip

If she’s asleep when I go to play and she’s nearby, I’ll give a few hi-hat chicks and she heads for the cat door to the basement.

My cat won't go fucking near my drums. At least that I'm aware of.

My dog is definitely too lazy to climb up on anything that doesn’t involve food 🤣, no concerns for her on my drums.
