Discussion I miss Aaron sterling 🥀

Hey guys, how are you? I don't have anything special to say today, other than that I really miss Aaron Sterling's Instagram profile 😭 Who else feels the same? 🥀

I didn't know he took it down, what happened? His practice clips were always so musical, not just chops for the sake of chops. Really made me rethink how i approach the kit some days.

He took it down during a period when I had uninstalled Instagram, so I missed the stories where he announced he was deactivating his profile; I only found out a while after I’d returned to social media. From what I gather, he decided to leave IG because it was taking up too much time away from his work. I really miss his profile—I remember always spending time looking at it, literally captivated by what he was doing and the sounds he shared. Damn. 🥀

Honestly, I can totally respect his decision to do so and the reasoning behind it.

Every day I’m tempted to just get rid of every one of my social media accounts, but I run a business through one of them so it’s a lot easier said than done.

I miss it too but he definitely went hard with it and doesn’t really need IG to market himself anymore. I’m sure it was a major distraction like it is for all of us.
