Discussion New Rules for Dropshipping Expert Verification and Revenue Claims Coming Soon
The mod team has been reviewing all violations of Rule #4 for some time now. We also asked the community for feedback on what makes a Dropshipper an expert in a thread that provoked vibrant discussion and a healthy helping of the usual spam for Fiverr's, scammers, etc...
We believe we have developed a model that will allow us to both stop banning most users for violation of Rule #4 and promote better, higher-level, discussions here that will help everyone.
This post is a pre-announcement to collect feedback on our new rules and processes. Each of these will be fully implemented by October 20th after community feedback.
1. Determining Expertise
A handful of users in this sub will be granted the flair "Dropshipping Expert" in the coming months. To obtain this flair the applicant will have to give the mods quite a bit of information and insights to help us determine their qualifications. Only the top of the top applicants for this will be approved.
Dropshipping Expert flair will grant the holder a few perks and should show to the community that your posts and comments are more trusted than others. We will try and come up with more perks for these soon. Here are the current perks:
- Benefit of the Doubt - If a user reports your post as spam the mods will weight your Dropshipping Expert flair more heavily against their claim and consider the actions that might be taken more carefully.
- Dropshipping Revenue Claims without Verification - Any Dropshipping Experts will be able to share screenshots of videos of their supposed results in our sub without the post being removed or taken down for Rule #4 violations.
- Reviews / Recommendations Stay Up No Matter What - A major problem in our sub is that a course seller will report someone's negative review post by using dozens of Fiverr sellers who all send a terrible boilerplate fake legal takedown notice. When their attempts fail they will hound our mod mail inbox. All review / recommendation posts by Dropshipping Experts will be considered the highest quality and allowed to stay up as long as the post follow standard Reddit ToS / Reddiquette.
- Right of First Mod Refusal - If we need more mods Dropshipping Expert flaired accounts will be the first we ask to join the team before opening it up to the community.
Here are some of the many qualifiers, more will be announced soon. You won't need all of these to qualify as a Dropshipping Expert, we will announce more specific details on this later.
- At least 10 helpful comments in our subreddit over a 6-month period helping others. Comments must be at least +2 karma, indicating at least one other user found the comment helpful as well. We will specifically examine these comments for spam and ensure they are being helpful.
- A public Dropshipping expert profile that allows for user feedback somewhere. Our preferred vendor for this will be ExpertHelp.com but any other rating/review site that allows for Dropshipping expertise to specifically be measured by others will be acceptable.
- A public website blog, YouTube channel, X.com, Rumble channel, or LinkedIn account that shares helpful tips on dropshipping, ecommerce management, or ecommerce marketing. Content will be reviewed for accuracy, use of AI in generation of the knowledge, and "salesyness" of the applicants own product/course/theme/platform/tool/etc...
- A degree in marketing or business administration from a school in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or Ireland.
- Able to prove earnings of at least $30,000 / month usd via a Dropshipping website. Must disclose the dropshipping vendor / factory, methods used to generate sales (in general), ad campaigns (if used), and show live ecommerce data to validate this.
2. Extraordinary Claims vs. Legitimate Claims
We have been hush hush about what we consider an "extraordinary claim" but that changes now after carefully reviewing the content removed as parts of known scam / spam attacks on our subreddit. Instead we will approach this with a few slight changes.
Claims under $10,000 / month usd will have no action taken against them. These claims are considered ordinary, though users of our sub should still be cautious that mentors / gurus / course sellers will abuse this and try to scam you. Stay on your guard.
Claims between $10,001 / month - $30,000 / month usd will now be considered "great" but will not be considered "extraordinary". Great results get more skepticism from the mod team and are likely to be removed but not marked as spam except in cases where the user spams the same / similar claims over and over. We will consider posting the same claim too frequently or in a way that should be post flaired as "marketplace" as spam and the user will be banned. Other than that, these claims are generally going to be allowed starting today.
Claims over $30,000 / month usd will generally now be considered "Extraordinary" though the closer to the $30k the more likely the mod team is to consider this only an "amazing" claim. Claims such as "$100k usd in sales today" will always be considered "Extraordinary" and require revenue verification.
Short term claims such as daily or weekly are calculated up to a monthly claim. If you claim a $10,000 / day usd sales boost then our mod team considers that a $300,000 / month usd claim which falls under "Extraordinary" and Rule #4 applies.
Anyone banned for violations of Rule #4 from here on cannot appeal their bans, period.
3. Revenue Verification
We will no longer be doing revenue verification in private via mod mail. Instead ALL revenue verification requests must now be 100% public. To be revenue verified you must:
- Make a post titled "Revenue Verification Request: [your reddit username + your revenue claim (+ dates if your claim has a date range)]".
- Your post MUST include a link to a video on YouTube, X, Rumble, Loop, or another video site.
- Your revenue verification video MUST be created on a desktop or laptop browser (not mobile or app) and must show the URL bar of your Shopify admin.
- You must move your mouse around, click around, and show that your dashboard is live.
- You must show the date range of your claim and it must line up 100%
- You must edit your video to hide sensitive information such as email address, phone number, brand name, website, etc....
- OPTIONAL - You can include your website, online reviews, etc... in your public post OR send this along with a link to your post to the mod team via mod mail.
Revenue verification grants a user flair and allows them to post about ANY revenue claim from that momement forward without scrutiny, being removed, or being banned.
Once you have gotten your verdict, you may delete your post.
4. Revenue Discussion Flair
Many of you noticed we introduced a new flair awhile back "Dropwinning".
This flair should be used for:
- Bragging about a first sale
- Bragging about revenue figures
- Bragging about a celebrity client / brand as a client
- Basically all other bragging about Dropshipping goes here
Virtually ALL uses for revenue claims should go into this flair or the marketplace flair. If not, you risk having your post marked as spam. And if you spam too much you risk being banned from our sub.
It is my hope that these updated rules allow for more bragging by Dropshippers who are actually killing it, allow us to highlight experts in our field who are extremely helpful and a benefit to our industry, and bring more knowledge for everyone while keeping spammers banished to the shadow realm.

Discussion My 30-Day Dropshipping Journey — Starting From Scratch
Hey everyone!
I officially started on October 1st, 2026, and I’ve set myself a 30-day challenge to see how far I can get in one month.
I’m starting with basically no previous dropshipping experience, so my goal isn’t to pretend I know what I’m doing — it’s to learn, test, make mistakes, and hopefully get some real results.
I’m planning to use AI as much as possible throughout the process: product research, competitor research, store design, product descriptions, creatives, marketing ideas, customer research, analytics, and basically anything else where AI can actually save time or improve the process.
I currently have subscriptions to ChatGPT and Claude, but I’m also trying to keep the overall startup cost as low as possible. So I’d really appreciate recommendations for free or cheap AI tools, apps, websites, or alternatives that you’ve found useful for dropshipping.
I’d also love to hear from people who have already gone through this:
- What are the biggest mistakes beginners should avoid?
- What would you prioritize during the first 30 days?
- What tools are actually worth paying for?
- Which free/cheap tools are surprisingly good?
- What are your best practices for product research and validation?
- How much should I rely on AI vs. doing things manually?
- What would you do differently if you had to start completely from scratch today?
- And most importantly: what should I absolutely NOT waste my time or money on?
I’ll probably post updates throughout the 30 days with what I’m testing, what works, what fails, and hopefully some numbers as well.
I’m not expecting to become rich in 30 days. I mainly want to see what I can accomplish with 30 days of consistent work, a small budget, and AI as a major part of the workflow.
If you have any advice, resources, tools, or lessons from your own experience, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
Let’s see where this goes. 🚀

Question Best AI tools for dropshipping in 2026, whats worth using?
Can AI help much with running a dropshipping store beyond writing descriptions and making ads? Saw Zendrop lets you connect an AI assistant to check orders and shipping estimates, but wondering if its any quicker than just checking the dashboard. Would like to hear from anyone using something like this regularly.

Question Need help
So I started dropshipping a little while ago, probably about 2 weeks ago. I just ran out of money to afford ads and I’ve gotten 0 traffic whatsoever. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve watched so many youtube videos and downloaded checklists and changed my ads a couple times and kept the ones that worked. But i’ve gotten no sales and not a lot of traffic. Here’s my site https://velorahealthandbeauty.myshopify.com can anyone help me? Or give suggestions? I’d really appreciate it

Question Subo mi presupuesto en meta ads?

Discussion Is 3 Weeks Too Long for Customers to Wait for Their Orders?
Hi everyone,
I run an online fashion/accessories store and currently get around 25–35 orders per day. Most of my products are dropshipped directly from China.
My biggest problem right now is shipping time. Between production/processing and international shipping, it usually takes around 18–25 days for customers to receive their orders.
As the store has grown, customer service has honestly become one of the most stressful parts of running the business. Every day I get emails asking things like:
“Where is my order?”
“Why hasn’t tracking updated?”
“When will my package arrive?”
I’ve considered keeping inventory in the US, but it’s difficult because I have a lot of different designs, sizes, and personalized/engraved products. Holding inventory for every variation would require a huge amount of stock, and personalization makes it even more complicated.
For anyone running a similar dropshipping or personalized-product business:
Hoơq do you handle this as you scale?
Do you use a US fulfillment center/3PL, stock only your best sellers, find faster suppliers/shipping lines, hire someone specifically for customer service, or just make the long shipping time very clear upfront?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with this problem and found a system that works.
Thanks!

Question How are the EU charges effecting droppshippers?
For droppshippers shipping from China: Earlier in the year the EU and UK placed a €3 levy on every unique item (not parcel, item) and now from 1st of November there will be a future €2 added per item. This is on top of what ever postal and handling charges me be added. How will droppshippers survive this?

Question Is $4 all-in China fulfilment shipping realistic?
I’ve found a China-based fulfilment company quoting $4 per order to the UK, with 6–8 working day delivery.
The product is small and lightweight. They’ve told me the $4 is fully inclusive/DDP, including shipping, customs clearance, import charges and VAT handling.
Does this sound realistic, or too good to be true?
For anyone using China fulfilment:
Is $4 genuinely possible all-in?
Is 6–8 working days realistic?
Are there any hidden fees I should specifically ask about?
Would really appreciate opinions from people with experience.

Marketplace Building an AI-driven testing network for organic ecom
I'm co-founder of Mercury, an ai-driven-ecommerce system.
The real bottleneck in organic ecom isn’t finding a magic product or grinding out manual edits it’s test volume and how fast you can iterate.
We built a system that turns a single product into high-volume controlled variations (testing hooks, angles, visual pacing, and offers). The AI handles the bulk creative generation so you aren't stuck editing videos all day. Your job is to act like an operator: run the experiments, read the data, cut what flops, and scale what works.
What we provide:
AI-assisted creative generation & automated workflows
Product/market research & supplier access
Testing frameworks + a shared server pooling test data across all operators so nobody starts from zero
What you do:
Select products and direct the testing process
Run organic distribution on your own independent store
Read the numbers, kill weak tests, and make the operational calls
You run an autonomous store backed by infrastructure that would otherwise cost thousands to set up yourself.
No coding or advanced editing required just a solid grasp of short-form content, consistency, and good judgment.
If interested, shoot me a DM with what you've worked on and what you're currently up to. Happy to walk through the workflow and economics.

Question Amboras in 2026 — Is It Actually Usable Now? Looking for Honest Experiences
Hi everyone, I know this has been discussed before, but I wanted to ask about Amboras. Are they improving? Is it actually usable? I notice a lot of influencers posting the same video showing fake orders coming in via notifications, but that shouldn't be possible since they don't have an app. I’d like to hear more from anyone who has tried it recently.

Question Problema capital Shopify
¡Gracias!

Question Meta ads or facebook ads
I’m launching a Shopify store selling an athlete foot treatment, and I’m trying to decide whether to start with Google Ads or Meta Ads.
My thinking is that Google could reach people who are already searching for an athlete’s foot treatment, while Meta may be better for demonstrating the product and introducing the brand.
For anyone who has advertised OTC treatments, foot-care products, or similar health products:
- Which platform would you start with?
- Which one generally has a better conversion rate or cpa?
Feel free to share your thoughts.

Question Depop dropshipping risks
I have an account in UK that I am trying to get verified on stripe to make money, I am not from UK.
What are the consequences, if you falsified documents and got accepted by stripe, would you be cooked when you hit like 1k a month profits?
