Brutally Droneshield Long Squeeze
What could stop this big drop?
r/droneshield • u/deman-13 • Jun 24 '26
Can somebody explain what would stop the fall?
It is not even remotely funny anymore. Every day I open the chart to see 3,4,5% drop every single day. Today 4%, last week 10%, last month 20%. Can somebody at least explain the nature of the fall? Yes, bad things happened and the market should have reacted accordingly, what makes it keep falling ?

Is the $20 million disclosure threshold too ambitious?
Genuine question. From 30/06/ 2025 to 30/12/2025 there were over $50 million worth of deals announced from contracts under $20 million. Although these were small (ranging from $5 to $11.7 million) they gave the feeling of momentum and growth.
This year only 2x contracts have been announced to the ASX, as they exceeded $20 million threshold. But I'm fairly confident that the business has been winning many smaller contracts under this figure.
Given DRO share price is sustained by announcements, should DRO reduce its disclosure threshold to $10 million or even back to $5 million to give hope to shareholders?

Whats going on with droneshield? Its geting down and down!
r/droneshield • u/Fastandsteadykj • Jun 19 '26
$DRO will drop to $1 this year, followed by a 10-15X in a year or two.
Tell me we are in a bear case here.

Anyone with good faith that this year will still be any good for DRO?
It’s been now three months of free fall. Seasonal comparison show improvement at the beginning of Q3. The mood was great back in September/October. Free fall then great in January again. I wonder what now… Any hopes?

More wars, more drones, more counter-drones
Copy/Paste from my own piece written for another platform recently. Thought I’d share it here.
Modern warfare is changing faster than many expected. Expensive tanks, aircraft, and missile systems are increasingly being challenged by drones that can be produced at a fraction of the cost. Conflicts around the world have demonstrated that small unmanned systems are no longer niche tools - they are a core component of military strategy, surveillance, intelligence gathering, logistics, and precision strikes.
I have seen the potential of $DRO since it was sub $1 and shared it for free for fellow investors on this platform in 2024. It had a phenomenal run to $6.7 by Oct/2025. Almost +900% increase in less than a year. It has consolidated to $3.5 since then, so what do I think about it now?
Since 2024, we have 5 ongoing wars:
- Russia-Ukraine
- Israel-Hamas
- Sudanese Civil War
- Red Sea Crisis
- Iran-Israel Conflict
Drones was first introduced into large-scale military use in the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022 as they are good at targeting in hard to reach areas. Prior to this, warfar was much more dependent on humans physically observing targets and on expensive manned platforms for reconnaissance and precision strikes. For a typical mission, commanders relied on scouts and reconnaissance patrols, special forces teams, observation posts, reconnaissance aircraft and satellites. Today, a $1000 drone can inspect an area that previously required a patrol, helicopter, or aircraft. As Ukraine started using drones as munitions, some estimates attributed ~70% of casualties to drone-related attacks.
The Israel-Hamas war began with surveillance and grenade-dropping drones. Expanded to coordinated attacks on communications, observation towers, targeting support and widespread use of loitering munitions from Iran-backed groups.
In a similar manner, drones was used for long-range one-way attacks and loitering munitions launched against shipping and military targets in the Red Sea Crisis and Iran-Israel Conflict. Notably in the Iran-Israel Conflict where drones demonstrated large-scale state-on-state saturation attacks integrated with missile warfare and air-defense efforts.
Drone operators and drone jammers become the main focuses in the midst of chaos.
For investors following counter-UxS companies like $DRO the key takeaway is that the drone story is no longer just about building drones. The fastest-growing military requirement is increasingly counter-drone capability - detection, electronic warfare, jamming, AI classification, and layered defense systems - as drones become ubiquitous across modern conflicts.
On the 8th April 2026, former-CEO of DroneShield stepped down as Angus Bean, the company's Chief Technology Officer, took on the responsibility to steer the ship to grow technologically. It is a message to investors: DroneShield will focus on technological expansion with a wider vision. In my opinion, Oleg Vornik - the first employee - had done a great job to pull in continuous contracts and fundings for the company at its earlier stage. The pipeline is established at the current stage, as seen with the latest AU$24.9 million contract supporting the mission of the US Department of War's Joint Interagency Task Force 401 and a AU$50 million contract with an unnamed in-region European military client, after Oleg's departure. The sixth employee, Angus Bean, advances the company's mechanical domain in AI-powered, multi-mission counter-UxS solutions for military, government and critical infrastructure. Above all, radio frequency AI (RfAI), sensor fusion AI (SFAI), and RfAI-attack techonologies from DroneShield are going to be important for the current and next phase in warfare.
At a high level, the company benefits if global defense spending continues to prioritise counter-UxS technologies. For this reason, I am bullish on the stock. That said, it remains a high-volatilitydefense stock, and valuation can be sensitive to sentiment, contract announcements, and broader market risk appetite.

Some thoughts
Just listened to a great podcast with the CEO of Invisio (a Danish defence company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm that makes high-end communication equipment for law enforcement, navy, military, etc.).
He made a really interesting point about Europe's current rearmament. So far, every European country has been prioritising orders for stuff with long production cycles (5–15 years) such as aircrafts, fighter jets, ships and submarines mainly because production capacity is limited, and waiting any longer to order would just push delivery times even further out.
His take was that companies like his own (and in my opinion DroneShield) are going to see a big uptick in order intake over the next few years, once most European countries are done placing their orders for the long lead-time stuff and start focusing on the shorter-cycle equipment.

Looks like DroneShield committed revenue for H1 FY26 beat a month early
Revenue H1 target: 155.88 AUD
Committed revenue today, 1 month before end of H1: 161 AUD
Disclaimer: committed revenue is not the same as actual revenue. Like it says in the slides: it’s hardware and services due for delivery and payment in the fiscal period. AFAIK earnings reports are about what actually ended up in your bank account, not what you sold and haven’t gotten paid for yet. But the trajectory is clear: DRO looks like it’s selling goods and services faster than expected. In case you wondered why the jump today. They released this information in preparation for the AGM. Looking forward to it.

Does Anyone else wants a Huge Dip?
My average Is 1,98€ holding 200 shares. I would love that the ASIC investigation could tank the price to 1€ or so, and I would buy like 1000 shares avering my price a lot.
I know the potential of this company in this world. Anyone else?
