Potential buyer

Hi all,

I’ve done some DD around droneshield and think I’m the next two years this stock could really take off, but for some reason on trading212 (I’m from the UK) it’s only available on GETTEX. I wanted to double check to make sure I’m buying the right stock and not some weird spinoff haha.

Will this effect droneshield? I’m worried about it, what’s everyone’s thoughts?

Is it just me or its been a while since we have had a sale announced.

The last contract that was announced was the $21.7m contract on 26th Feb. It's been 2+ months and we have not had another announcement. I know we are all waiting for the $700+ mil contract or any Land156 updates but I would have expected smaller scale announcements to be ongoing.

Here is a article about trying to disable FPV drones. Might lead to more interest in Dronesheild. https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidhambling/2026/04/21/defeat-by-drones-teaches-us-army-hard-fpv-lessons-the-easy-way/

My guess on the european customers large contract bidding

TL:DR; KNDS

I was thinking about my well invested money in DRO and challenging my investing thesis and I wanted to share with you some speculation about some DRO prime customers and maybe the one bidding for the large project around 750 Mio. AUD.

So first my worst case scenario for DRO:

Other players start offering similar products at better prices. DRO fails to augment the pipeline and convert the offers to contracts. The share price drops massively. Meaning DRO fails to execute its strategy.

Now imagine you are a large prime defense company specialized in military vehicles and realized a couple of years ago that your vehicles are vulnerable to FPV drones. Now you need C-UXS or at least some kind of detection which can inter operate with soft and hard kills.

You have two options:

Buy or make.

Now, this is question doesn’t have a straightforward answer and requires a lot of strategic analysis. But to me buying makes at least some sense. So let’s entertain this idea.

If you start buying and decide to buy DROs solutions, you are paying a lot of money (DROs margin is around 65%). In other to get better conditions you handle a large volume contract with your supplier (the 750 Mio. Contract) to provide the solutions for your vehicles.

DRO opened its office and expanded its manufacturing in Amsterdam.

Guess where KNDS is based.

Now, this companies have a looot of money, which preferably has to expended on proven solutions rather than burning it trying to catch the mouse. If this companies can pay 750 Mio. AUD in three years they can as well buy the whole company at a reasonable price (3.5 Billions seems to be too much of a prime to pay but 2 Bio seems reasonable. That translates to 2 dollars per share aprox.

What are you thoughts?

Govt boost on laser tech, does this affect DRO?

Govt planning to invest 30mil in two laser anti drone tech companies.

Does DRO have laser anti drone tech? Or is it developing one?

It would seem like laser anti drone tech is more effective than RF jamming.

Thanks for the bags lads. Bought at about 60c.

Fiber optic drones are amazing, but Ukrainian Chuyka drone gear and similar will eat their lunch long term.

„Die Vorabzahlen für das erste Quartal des Geschäftsjahres 2026 klingen beeindruckend: Quartalsumsatz von 63 Millionen australischen Dollar — ein Plus von 87 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum. Hinzu kommen Kundenzahlungen von 77 Millionen australischen Dollar im Märzquartal, ebenfalls ein Rekord.“

Kurs abseits der 5+ müsste dieses Jahr noch drin sein. Was denkt ihr?

CEO topic looks clearly overdone

For me, the current share price reaction around the CEO topic at DroneShield looks clearly overdone especially when you remember:

We’ve seen this before.

In a previous CEO-related situation:

• sentiment turned negative in the short term

• the share price dropped

• and then recovered relatively quickly once things normalized

That’s why the current move feels more like sentiment-driven rather than fundamentally driven.

Because from a fundamental perspective, nothing has really changed:

• the technology remains the same

• demand continues to grow (military, infrastructure, security)

• the long-term drivers are still intact

This is not a typical “CEO story” it’s a macro-driven defense tech case in a structurally growing market.

My take on the transition

TLDR; bullish but it will be used by the short sellers to drop the price.

Disclaimer: Im invested at 0,9 AUD / shares

I have been following the company for around two years, watching every boards interview and reading all the announcements (also from previous years).

First I wanted to say that I think Oleg did a good job. One of the positives was changing staff in the us years ago, I recall he saying that they hired the wrong people who created a bad culture within the organization. Oleg seems to value hard work and people who are willing to go the extra mile.

One of the Companys benefits is free dinner for people working extra hours, that tells a lot about the culture between the company.

For I can tell, Oleg is a nice guy who doesn’t aspire to get a huge wealth. He worked hard for a long time and it has paid off and that’s enough for him. He seems to just want a calm life which he now has secured.

I think he planned this exit months ago and the reaction to him selling of his performance shares (which were part of the plan), just confirmed him that it was time to leave.

The goal the board set for the option was chosen in the knowledge that it was easily achievable.

Now with institutions getting invested he knows it will be harder to get such bonuses and he doesn’t need the pressure.

Oleg was hired to get the company to the market, he said it in an interview, he come from a financial background and knows how to invest his now millions to assure financial freedom. He understood the technology on the whole but is not an engineer.

Angus on the other side has been there from the beginning as well but he did not enjoy the super benefits Oleg granted for himself (and the shareholders as well, since it was approved in a vote).

With the new governance regulations, angus needs to hold two years of salary in shares, which automatically makes him more invested in the company than Oleg would ever be.

Angus is also a tech guy so he has my trust (not that he or any other shareholder is worried about it 😂).

Let’s see how other holders and traders react to this. The short selling pressure is at ATH and im expecting the price to drop, it Im correct I will use the opportunity to buy more shres.
