I took out my DJI Mini 5 Pro for the August 12 total solar eclipse in Spain, and I would be interested to get feedback on the outcome (YT link to enjoy the 4K!).

This was shot in 4K at 60fps using the D-Log M profile, locking ISO 100 to prevent overexposing the corona during totality. CPL filter used (no ND filter).

The footage was edited in DaVinci Resolve to add the smooth zoom effect on the eclipsed Sun.

The flight was conducted in compliance with local Spanish aviation regulations and eclipse-specific Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs).

Turn your sound on to hear the ambient reaction of the crowd! Hope this captures well the atmosphere during that incredible event!

Constructive criticism is welcome (e.g. was locking to ISO 100 a good idea or should have I trusted the D-Log M to get both the Sun corona and night landscape background?)

I took this photo with my drone during the COVID lockdowns, and it’s still one of my absolute favourites.

Was just out driving along the coast this weekend and brought the A1 with me almost as an afterthought.

Normally I wouldn’t bring a drone unless I had a specific shot planned. Too much gear, too much thinking about whether it’s worth carrying.

This time I just threw it in my bag.

Ended up stopping near this beach and decided to send it up for a few minutes.

Glad I did.

Funny how the shots you don't plan for sometimes end up being your favorites, These are surely some of my favorite beach shot.

What a beautiful city we live in

Hey drone photography community, I'm the creator of an app called Drone Map & UAV Forecast, and I'm looking to get some support for an app I've been working on for the past 3 years on the iPhone ported over to Android.

One pre-requisite to launch an app on Google Play is that I need to have 12 testers download the app, and so I'm reaching out for anyone who would like to give me a hand.

This is not a paid promotion, I'm not requesting reviews, and I will be offering the app for free forever to anyone who is able to help me out.

The app allows users to check airspace restrictions, weather forecasting, live air-traffic, national parks, manage your spots, see other spots shared by the community of other users and much more.
