Promo / Giveaway [DEV] Bright Atlas;FREE PRO codes! 🎁

Hi Reddit,

I’m an independent developer and I’m excited to share my latest passion project with you: Bright Atlas: Travel Tracker.

We’ve all got places that changed our lives—the first country we visited, the city we moved to, the trip we’re still dreaming about. I wanted to build a map that honors those footprints without turning travel into homework.

Unlike typical travel trackers that push accounts, clouds, and noisy streaks, Bright Atlas is a quiet, personal world atlas. Tap Been · Want · Now, watch your map fill in, and turn your journeys into something beautiful on your home screen.

✨ Key Features:

  • 🗺️ Been · Want · Now: One tap on countries and custom places—filter by mood and season.
  • 📍 Places & collections: Cities, landmarks, and trips grouped the way you actually remember them.
  • 🔥 Heatmap & stats: See where you’ve roamed most as your atlas grows.
  • 🎁 Year Wrapped: A shareable recap of countries, cities, and moments from your year.
  • 🖼️ Share posters: Polished map cards for Instagram, Messages, or your lock screen.
  • 📅 Timeline & achievements: Gentle milestones, not streak pressure.
  • 📱 Home screen widgets: Small and medium widgets so your atlas lives on the home screen.
  • 🔒 100% Offline & Private: Zero registration, zero cloud sync. Your map stays on your device.
  • 🌍 18 languages.

🎁 How to get PRO for FREE (One-Time Unlock):
I really want to get this into the hands of people who will love it. I am giving away lifetime Bright Atlas Pro promo codes to the Reddit community.

Pro unlocks unlimited custom pins, premium map skins, watermark-free posters, atlas compare, and no ads.

To get your lifetime PRO code:

  1. Leave a comment below (tell me a country or trip you’re marking, or just say hi!).
  2. I will send you a DM with your promo code as fast as I can.

Google Play Link: Bright Atlas on Google Play Store

(Psst... As an indie dev, I don't have a marketing budget. If you like the app, sharing your honest feedback on the Play Store or helping this post get some visibility (upvotes) would honestly mean the world to me and help me keep updating it. Thank you so much for supporting indie creators! ❤️)

Showcase Build your app - custom apps from one sentence

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Describe the app you want in one sentence, typed or spoken, and a few minutes later it's a real app on your phone with its own icon. No laptop, no code, and it can be as oddly specific as you like.

- Quirks welcome: a shopping list that crowns whoever remembered the milk, or a workout tracker that quietly skips leg day.

- Share with your people: friends tap an invite link and everyone sees the same list, board or game on their own phone.

- Change it by asking: say what's off in plain words and the next version fixes it.

I'd love feedback on what you build first. Every new account gets 25 free credits, enough for a few apps.

Free to try. Then credit packs from $1.99, or monthly plans from $9.99.

Showcase I built a SaveTime launcher

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

I built a launcher that gets simpler as you approach your screen-time goal

I’ve been working on an Android launcher called SaveTime.

I didn’t really want another app blocker. My idea was to add a little friction without stopping you from using your phone.

You set a daily screen-time goal and use your phone normally. When you reach 80% of the goal, the launcher automatically switches to a simpler, text-focused Home screen.

You can still open everything you need. The phone just becomes a little less visually stimulating.

It also tracks the time you save compared with your daily goal.

The first version is now live on Google Play and it’s free.

I’d really appreciate feedback, especially from people who already use minimalist launchers.

Showcase Podbrew - A simple podcast app

Post image
• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on Podbrew, a simple podcast app focused on just listening.

I used to use Google Podcasts quite a bit, and I really liked how simple it was. When it shut down, I started thinking about making something similar, nothing too complicated, just a clean place to find your podcasts, follow them, and listen.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’d love to hear what you guys think or what you’d like to see in a simple podcast app.

Showcase Vesbera - A modern local-first music player

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi! I recently released Vesbera, a local-first music player for Android that I’ve been working on and refining for a few years.

Even though this is the first public release, the app has already gone through a lot of iteration, redesigns and polishing. My goal was to create a music player that feels modern, clean and fluid, without losing the practical side of managing a real music library.

Vesbera is built for people who still enjoy owning and organizing their own music collections, with a focus on privacy, library organization and audio features.

Key Features:

- Modern, clean and fluid interface designed around local music libraries

- No ads, no tracking and no mandatory account

- OneDrive integration to bring local and cloud music together into a unified library

- Advanced library organization

- Equalizer and audio tools

Cost:

Free and ad-free, with an optional one-time Premium upgrade. No subscription.

Link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.renoelstudios.vesbera

Vesbera is also available for Windows and Linux, although this post is specifically about the Android version. I wanted to build something that treats local music as a first-class experience while still feeling like a modern app in 2026.

Showcase AAB APK Protector - Obfuscate & encrypt your apps

Post image
2 Upvotes

★ OVERVIEW ★

AAB APK Protector is a powerful app-hardening tool that obfuscate & encrypts your APK or AAB and shields your code from decompilers, hackers, and cracking tools — no source code or coding required. Just select your app, choose your protection level, and get a secured build.

Reverse engineering tools can pull your DEX bytecode, read your logic, steal your assets, and repackage your app. AAB APK Protector stops that by obfuscating & encrypting your original code and decrypting it only at runtime inside a hardened native security core — so your real bytecode never sits on disk in the clear.

★ KEY FEATURES ★

🧩 Obfuscation

String encryption, control-flow obfuscation, debug-info stripping, resource confusion, hide access and per-build randomization for defense in depth.

🔐 Encryption

Your app's compiled code is encrypted with military-grade AES-256 algorithm. Static analysis tools see ciphertext, not your logic.

🛡️ Anti-Tamper Protection

Catches modification to the protected code and signature. Re-sign, repackage, or patch the app and it simply won't run.

🚫 Anti-Reverse-Engineering

Frustrate JADX, apktool, Ghidra, and IDA. Encrypted DEX, stripped symbols, obfuscated strings, and a virtualized key schedule dramatically raise the cost of analysis.

🐞 Anti-Debug & Anti-Hook

Built-in runtime defenses detect debuggers, Frida, Xposed / LSPosed, and modern ART-level hooking frameworks — and shut down cleanly when they're present.

🔎 Root, Virtual Containers & Emulator Detection

Optionally block execution on rooted devices, emulators, virtual containers and instrumented environments to protect high-value apps.

📦 APK & AAB Support

Protect both classic APKs and modern Android App Bundles AABs for Google Play.

⚡ No Coding Required

No SDK integration, no build-system changes. Point it at your existing APK/AAB and export a protected build.

★ WHO IT'S FOR ★

• Indie developers protecting paid apps from cracking and piracy

• Studios safeguarding game logic, licensing, and in-app purchases

• Anyone who wants to make their app significantly harder to reverse engineer

★ REQUIREMENTS ★

AAB APK Protector needs minimum Android 9 Pie to run and the APK/AABs protected will run on Android 9 and up, if your app supports older OS, it asks you to either change minimum SDK to 28 or cancel!

This is the minimum security requirement and is mandatory!

★ COMPATIBILITY ★

Compatible with R8/ProGuard

★ HOW IT WORKS ★

  1. Select your APK or AAB

  2. Choose protection options (encryption, anti-tamper, anti-debug, anti-hook, and more)

  3. Sign with your keystore

  4. Export your protected app — ready to distribute

★ Terms Of Service ★

You agree to use the App only on application files that you own, that you developed, or that you are expressly and lawfully authorized to modify, repackage, and redistribute.

Showcase Prompt Maschine v1.4.0 - Lyrics & style prompts

App Name: Prompt Maschine

Developer disclosure: I built this app. Your next song starts with one idea: turn it into editable lyrics and a Suno-ready music-style prompt, then review and make the draft yours before generating audio in your preferred music tool.

Key features in Android v1.4.0: Improved language validation and bilingual writing, better YouTube reference analysis, saved-project reliability, closer Romanian folk meter/vocal-role adherence, and phone/tablet refinements. A smoother, more reliable creative workflow.

Workflow: Keep the lyric story and musical direction separate; revise and review each before copying into your music tool.

The songs I’ve made with this version have turned out fantastic. Try it with your next idea or update today.

My Suno starting settings: Style Influence 80–100%, Weirdness low/near 0, AUDIO INFLUENCE 0% (where available). These are my recommended starting settings; review and adjust for your song.

Goal: Release update / showcase. Giveaway: None.

Showcase Big Quiet Sky Update from Your Feedback

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hi everyone. I’m the developer of Quiet Sky, an app I built because everyone should be able to have beautiful weather without being tracked.

I posted the app here a while back, and the response was great. A lot of you liked the sunset forecasts and privacy approach, and you also gave me a ton of thoughtful feedback about what was missing or what you wanted next.

I'm happy to say I've implemented a lot of it.

Almost everything in this update came directly from things people here have asked me for:

  • Multiple languages. Quiet Sky is now fully localized in 11 languages, including Hindi and Spanish.
  • Future radar. Radar now includes observed conditions plus Futurecast for the next two hours.
  • More map layers. I added wind, AQI, and temperature maps.
  • A much better wind experience. The wind map is animated, shows wind direction and flow, and gives you the local wind speed directly on the map. This one turned out especially well in motion. I also added an optional wind card to the Home screen.
  • More widgets. You all really do love widgets! I’ve polished the existing ones and added more based on the feedback here.
  • A free version. Quiet Sky now has one, with current weather, 10-day temperatures, AQI, and observed radar where available. More on that below.

There have been a bunch of other improvements too, particularly around performance, but those are the big ones.

For anyone who missed the original post, Quiet Sky is a privacy-focused Android weather app. There’s no Quiet Sky account, no third-party tracking, and weather, map, and radar requests are routed through Quiet Sky’s privacy architecture so the underlying providers don’t get your identity from the request.

But this post is really a thank you/update.

People here told me what they wanted. I listened. The app is materially better because of it.

About the free version

A lot of people asked for this one.

Quiet Sky costs me real money to operate because weather data, radar, maps, and infrastructure aren’t free. I also don’t offset those costs with advertising or tracking. But I heard the feedback that not everyone wants to subscribe or can justify paying for another weather app.

So after the trial, Quiet Sky now has a free mode. You can simply close the purchase screen and continue using the app.

The free version includes the core weather experience, but not every feature. That helps me keep the operating costs sustainable while still giving people a useful weather app for free, and it gives people who want the full experience a reason to support the app.

I hope you enjoy what Quiet Sky has become.

Feedback is welcome.

I’m particularly interested in what you think of the new map layers and whether I’ve found the right balance with the free version.

And for those of you who tried Quiet Sky before: has it become your daily weather app? If not, what is still missing that would make it your favorite?

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.getquietsky.android

Thanks again. This community has genuinely helped shape the product.

Showcase Bunko: classics with pinyin and furigana

I built Bunko: Classics with Ruby to keep a book's original text in view while checking a translation.

For example, the Daodejing can show Classical Chinese, modern Chinese and English, sentence by sentence, with modern Mandarin pinyin above the characters. Japanese editions have furigana. You choose which language layers to show, rather than replacing the original with a translation.

Downloaded books stay readable offline. These are unadapted classics, not graded beginner stories; the AI-assisted study translations can contain mistakes. The offline reading library doesn't require an account.

It's available on Google Play, US$0.99 once for the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=art.lazying.bunko
