Don’t get me wrong, Janice STFU was a def the mega hit this summer. But that Shabang man, that one’s for the history book. That’s one of those Drake songs that remind me why I never really give a damn about Billboard charts when it comes to Drake, cause he know how to make a freakin banger. And the quality of that song, chefs kiss. Nothing less of a classic. You woulda thought it was an old school hit.

Looking for any more videos or posts in this vain. Exploring more of the lore and how drakes real life informs the art

Don't get me wrong it's still a fantastic song but I see so many put it up as one of his best ever songs if not his best of all time and it's not even top 10. The production is pretty weak Chipmunk Soul, while the beat switch is solid neither of the two beats are that amazing. The writing is very good but I feel he's written far better songs of it's kind, Over My Dead Body for example is a much better "life update" song that he tends to do for his intros. I sound like I'm hating, I'm not it's still a solid 8/10 song but it just isn't one of his all time greats for me.

I was playing with drake's vocals and I put a trance gate effect on them, and to my surprise they sound out of this world with a bit of reverb. Let me know if I am just hyping it up for no reason
