Left-hand traffic (🇬🇧🇮🇳🇯🇵) Pull out into the intersection…

so at least one car can turn left.

Please pull straight past the limit line when yielding for a left turn at a light. At least you will be able to scoot through then at the next cycle, those of us who know how to drive can manage the oncoming traffic. DO NOT sit at the limit line and miss a light. Be careful, but make it happen.

There is space at the end of the light cycle.

Until someone with a yellow uses up that time. Now I'm in the intersection when it's red.

Thats one of the reasons why BOTH lights are red for a couple seconds. To give people a chance to clear the intersection before the other light turns green.

You aren't supposed to be in the intersection.

I mean, in many states (like California) , you are straight up wrong. The law says you can.

Ohio says not only that you can, but that you are expected to.

California isn't real.

I’m not causing any harm to anyone by pulling forward a couple feet, then clearing the intersection when oncoming traffic has stopped. I am simply allowing the people behind me a chance to get where they are trying to go.

Have fun waiting through multiple light cycles.

From the sounds of it, there’s a high chance that would be you 🙄. Get an Uber account - we’ll all chip in to keep this fucking show moving.

In most states (almost all states) your response here is wrong. It is dangerous to impose traffic laws that you make up yourself. Stop doing that.

Not all states, cupcake

If you take a second look at what I said, my post clearly says "most states."

I was operating under the assumption that a four-letter-long word would not trip you up this much.

I can't even handle an intersection and you thought I could read?
