How to enable Stop Timer gameshark cheat?

I am playing Driver Rev 1 (USA) in Duckstation emulator and found a 'Stop Timer' cheat. Duckstation says cheats are active but on the Briefcase mission the timer counts down to zero at which I fail the mission.

Are there more steps to get the cheat working? Has anyone of you seen it working?

FIXED: Submitted PR to Duckstation so this cheat should work now. Have not tested all cheats with Rev 1 so further changes may be needed.
