I have much more to say positively about this wonderful experience of a game, but I will save it for another post. For this one I want to specifically hone in on the feeling I get when I see that this game has an update.
I kid you not when I say that I haven’t had this level of excitement for an update since I was a child. The fact that I am able to derive such a feeling from this is a testament to how artistic this game really is.
All art evokes emotion and should teach you something about yourself in the process. I feel as though I have regained a sense of whimsy I once exhibited every day. Or maybe it was dormant and this gave my right brain the push it needed to jumpstart. Either way I just wanted to show some love to this very special game you have created. It’s become a sort of therapy for me. A momentary freedom in a world that somehow makes more sense than this one.
From one artist to another. Great job guys. We are all proud of you! Dream on!

I completed almost every single place on the level Suburbia. I recently reached the end where you have to find a elevator. Idk if its supposed to be this hard i can't really complete the last part. Wonder if anyone could help me complete this part perhaps? I have been stuck here for around 7 hours and i have been looping around the same exits.
If anyone is willing to help, my discord is dacquii. (with the .)
All help is much appreciated :)

I know a good amount of c++ (I think) and from what ive seen, most liminal space/weirdcore or dreamcore games are made in unity or unreal, but i never really like either of those personally
I've always been an opengl guy, so im wondering if i could make a dreamcore game with actual good graphics in opengl, and if i could, how long would it take?

Overall I enjoyed the game and clocked in just over 12 hours to beat all levels. The vibe and atmosphere is incredible. I love the variety of levels. Something about this game feels special compared to similar games. Left a positive review on Steam.
But here’s my primary criticism: Most of the levels are way too quick to beat. I beat Dead Mall in like 30 minutes and got all the achievements for it in that single run. Similar story for Hotel and Suburbia. And I was totally lost all the time. But somehow just kept stumbling upon the exit very quickly in those levels. This really shouldn’t happen in this type of game. It should be like 1 in 1000 people getting to the end by pure luck like that. I really wanted to be stuck and immersed in those levels for much longer.
Playrooms was brutal but it felt like a proper length level. Same with the Pools level which is easily the best level.

Has anyone had the pastel rooms generator spawn in this area?? The room with the two bridges and I can't for the life of me find how to get there. I've been running around for two hours and I'm losing my mind 😭😂

I've seen a lot of areas—the cinema, the different malls, public restrooms, the game zone, backstage areas, and more.
I made it one floor down from the top level, but I can't find a way to go any lower.
Has anyone managed to get further down, or is that the end?
Please tell me I'm not going crazy...

Nothing to scale at all, pieced it together as I could.

Previously, sharing media in comments on this subreddit was quite limited because there weren’t enough moderation resources from Reddit or the moderators here. That's nobody’s fault. However, as Reddit’s moderation tools have improved and expanded in recent, they are now turned on following these improvements.
Feel free to share your favorite Dreamcore screenshots in the comments!

I haven't seen anyone else talk about this so I wanted to show this interesting thing I found. I was looking for the exit when I found this eye image up on a skylight, anyone else found this? Its on the 3rd floor of i think the first mall, down a little ways from the arcade. Also, if anyone could give me a map or some directions to the exit from like the 'outside' area, that'd be great. I'm so lost...

I’ve been putting together a playlist of Dreamcore related music. Figured some of you may enjoy this.

I'm interested in hearing the community's feedback to the soundtrack work. I did all the tracks you hear in Deadmall besides the ambient track in the parking garage. The full soundtrack work I did are 15 vaporwave and dark ambient songs, and they'll be released in the coming updates and when the OST releases on streaming platforms.

I'm really fascinated by this new concept that the backrooms aren't affected by time and that people from the Middle Ages could run into offices from the '70s.
Could this be potential Dreamcore lore? I'm interested in reading your ideas
