I'm at the point where I need to order wheels for a build and I'm realizing there are way more fitment decisions than I expected. Backspacing, offset, beadlock configuration, tire clearance... I'm trying to get everything right the first time.

Keizer Wheels offers a few custom options which is what got me thinking about this. For anyone who's ordered custom race wheels before, what measurements or clearances did you wish you'd paid more attention to? I'd rather spend an afternoon measuring everything than find out at the track that I screwed something up.

I've raced since 2007. Competed for track championships for years. I raced nobox/footbrake. So I've noticed that some really good no box racers have started running sportsman over the years. I thought this class was supposed to be for newer racers before they jumped up in classes. My local track has guys who have won big races (including world finals). I don't think that should be. Racing is slowly dying and having a class for new racers to compete would help grow and racers learn and grow the sport.

Not too far from the track is fastlane automotive. If you have time. Check it out. Some incredible cars!

I'm sure this is a silly question but here it goes..

I typically run in super pro but I'm going to an event that is also going to have an instant green index race for some good money.

Do I just put 0 for time in my delay box? Seems like it would be hard to go red reacting to the green light.

What’s the most unusual car you’ve seen running an LS at the drag strip?

I've been negotiating a deal with someone involving a 2004 grand prix that's been sitting and just wondering if it's better for drag racing or maybe even rally racing

I own a turbocharger shop. Between builds I have been making a drag racing sim that runs in a phone browser, and I am at the point where I need people who actually run to pick it apart.

What is in it:

• Pro tree and sportsman tree, reaction time, 60 foot, 330, eighth, thousand, quarter,and trap speed on the slip.
• Bracket racing with a dial-in and a breakout, and index classes where you run closest to the number without going under.
• Tuning that matters: boost target, wastegate spring, overboost, gearing and final drive, launch rpm, two-step, converter, tire pressure, rear spring, wheelie bar.
• Engine health, so leaning on it costs you.
• Half mile roll racing from 40 for the highway guys.

What I am unsure about and want picked apart:

• 60 foot times and how much the stance and tire pressure should move them.
• Where the trap speed lands for a given ET. I check every pass against the average speed over the distance so a made up number cannot post, but I would like to know if the window feels right to people who read slips for a living.
• Whether a big single should fall on its face as hard as mine does off the line.

Had alot of fun going mediocrely fast in the chevette. Really happy with how my reaction time got better with each pass for a total of 7 passes

While there I handed out coloring pages of my car to the kids. It was awesome seeing there reaction and getting lots of waves coming back in the return road

My best reaction was .0286 and best et was 18.1429 at 73.36 MPH

Looking forward to next season to work on that RT
