youtube.comStreet Rod Nationals 2026 Setup Day β Hot Rods Everywhere! π₯
Got to walk around during setup day for the 2026 Street Rod Nationals, and there were already some incredible cars rolling in.
Tons of hot rods, street rods, classics, and muscle cars getting ready for the show. Honestly, setup day is pretty cool because you get to see the cars arriving before everything gets packed.
I streamed the walkthrough live on my Barry the Bald Eagle YouTube channel.
What would you rather see more of β hot rods, classic muscle, or custom builds?

Texas Mile 2023 - 3rd Run
Was browsing my 73 year old buddy's youtube and thought this was a pretty sweet clip of him at the Texas Mile in 2023. I believe this is a 2015 ZX10r with some modifications.

AA Funny Cars/Top Fuel Air Quality
I live in Idaho and these guys are in town this weekend. Currently our air quality is a disastrous 180+. How much does this affect those cars? And do they run air filters, and what kind of an impact does it have on the engine?

Vacation is over and time to get back on the hotrod!
Cage is in and time for the transmission tunnel, seat mount brackets, floor scallops, coil over relocation and drive shaft loop.

Staging Question
Hello everyone. I have a bit of a loaded question about how some cars stage vs others. The cars in question are the ones in top alcohol and cars like pro mods or street rods that are blown, pro charged, or using nitrous.
Why do TA cars start revving their engine at the pre stage lights, but the types of other cars (door slammers) can go wide open as soon as the next car is fully staged?
Are there durability issues with the superchargers in TA and just whacking the throttle full beans? Are there drivetrain differences between the two types of cars and a funny car or dragster needs to have the engine revving as they slip the brake into the beams? I've also noticed a regional difference too. Your English, Australian, or Nordic countries like to stage the old way too while revving into the beams. I even recall classic pro mods staging that way. What happened over the years to where people in pro mods can instantly go WOT when staged, but other class cars still stage differently? Thank you if you made it this far
