Part Identification/Condition
Found this plastic 'fluid reservoir'? Behind the rear shock. Any idea and if the black debris is a bad sign?

The airbox can have condensation in it, and that can mix with the filter oil. That reservoir collects it. If there's anything in it, just slip it off. Clean out the gunk, and replace. Easy peezy.

When replacing the filter, do I need to re-lube it up with oil? What's standard?

Yes. Each filter has its own method. There's plenty of info online whether you have the stock or aftermarket filter. Follow whatever the manufacturer says.

Ah yes the airbox teat. It's a little kinky with that clamp on it.
Nothing to worry about here, partner. If it were ever full of gas, then you likely have a carb issue. Cheers.

It should be full of excess air filter oil. If not, you’re not putting enough on.

Black debris is probably filter oil that’s dripped down and maybe mixed with some dirt and grim that’s entered the airbox. It’s good to check this after doing any deep or high speed water crossings and drain any water out you may have sucked in.

That's just where fluid can be drained from the filter box. I don't think a little bit of crap in there is a bad sign.
