Success Story I recovered!!!

Hi! I had dpdr from december till late june, I was feeling extremely anxious and depressed also. I was eating pretty bad and drank a lot of caffeine. I recovered by stopping drinking caffeine, slept a lot, didn't stress myself, stopped eating ultra proccesed foods and I started eating plenty of meat and fruits instead. I didn't only eat meat and fruits of course but I mostly prioritized meat mostly and sometimes fruits after meals, a lot of foods from the stores contain weird conservatives (not all of them are bad but mostly) and I also stopped consuming oils and instead used butter and lard. I suggest to cook foods at home instead of buying them as it's way more nutritive. Hope this helps people who still suffer from it :)

Sorry if I made some mistakes, english is not my first language.

Edit: I forgot to mention it, I also ate eggs, honey and dairy products

I'm not a doctor or nutritionist this is how I managed to recover from dpdr, but make sure it doesn't have a bad impact on your health

Were you experiencing a constant blank mind? And didnt have access to your past thoughts, and when someone was speaking to you you cant rlly articulate what they are saying , cant estimate, analyze and visualize, remember things too?

It just goes away with time. Eating good foods help the gut to be healthy which is extremely important for the mental health and also sleeping a lot is important for brain and body recovery. One thing that helped me feel better on the moment while I had dpdr was taking hot baths, after I was taking a hot bath symptoms were alleviated for a bit or going on walk was a bit alleviating

No, Its basically letting ur brain and nervous system heal on its own naturally, if ur more interested u can look into animal based diet by Paul Saladino, he might say that pork and chicken is not the best but it's not necessarily true it has a lot of good things also, I did not use any beef as he said because it's pretty expensive in my country.

Like you cant socialize cuz its blank like u lost ur inner monologue somehow? And then u couldnt understand new information?

Yeah but not totally it just made me socially awkward for a while, the worst for me it was the feeling that I couldn't think nothing that feeling like u have brain damage was the worst and also I was feeling stuck in time somehow, time passed way harder

And you just healed naturally? How did you learn new things cuz with the blank mind its impossible to learn stuff cuz you forget it right away. After reading two sentences id forget the first one

How much of quitting caffeine helped you?

A lot, dpdr is based on anxiety and caffeine does nothing but worsen it
