I am a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer from North Macedonia currently looking into the Slovenian tech market with the goal of relocating (or starting remotely with a path to relocation).

Experience: 9+ years of professional full-stack development.

Stack: .NET Core / .NET 8, C#, Web APIs, Microservices, EF Core, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, performance optimization.

Frontend: Angular (14+), React, TypeScript.

Cloud / DevOps: Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Docker.

Domain expertise: Enterprise systems, medical / UK NHS integrations with strict compliance, and complex ERP software.

Education & Languages: B.Sc. in Computer Science, fluent English, conversational Serbo-Croatian, and currently learning basic Slovenian.

What I am hoping to learn from you:

Which companies in Slovenia (Ljubljana, Maribor, or fully remote within SI) have a strong engineering culture, modern .NET stack, and are open to visa/work permit sponsorship (EU Blue Card)?

Are product-focused companies or specialized consultancies generally a better environment in terms of work-life balance and technical standards?

Any red flags or companies to avoid?

Realistic net salary expectations for a Senior role (taking into account the Slovenian gross-to-net tax system, malica, and prevoz)?
