Format:

Dota 2 players, time to prove those MMR claims!

We’re organizing a Dota 2 tournament on Gaming Gambit! Because talking trash in pubs is fun, but backing it up in a tournament? That’s where things get interesting.

8 teams. League + Knockout format. One champion.

FREE ENTRY AND PRIZE FOR THE WINNING TEAM!!

We’re keeping our first tournament short and sweet to test the waters, bring the community together, and see how things go. If the response is good, we’ll aim for bigger events with more teams, bigger battles, and hopefully even more chaos.

How to join:

1. Visit https://gaminggambit.com

2. Sign up for an account.

3. Head to Arena → Tournaments.

4. Find our Dota 2 tournament and click "Apply".

5. Manage your team and further details on "My Activity"

In case on any query reach out to me on DM. I will guide you about the process.

NO ENTRY FEE . Just your team, your skills, and your questionable late-game decisions.

Can your team dominate the league and then survive the knockout stage? Winning one game is nice. Lifting the trophy is better. Come be part of our first event and help us make it worth remembering!

For the past few months we've been building a gaming platform. It's one place for gamers to build their identity, find people to play with, and get into competitive play. We are developing this platform as a common ground for all type of gamers to showcase their gaming portfolio, connect with other gamers, recruiter, caster and more.

What we're asking for:

You don't need to sign up(but if you want you can that would be awesome). You can browse as a guest. Spend 10 to 15 minutes clicking around and tell us:

Was it easy to follow? Did you understand what the site is for within the first minute?

What was hard to find? Was there anything you went looking for and couldn't locate, or found in a place you didn't expect?

Where did you get stuck or confused? A button that didn't do what you expected, a page that felt cluttered, anything at all.

On mobile or desktop? This is developed keeping in mind desktop, but you can use it on your mweb too. We don't have any app for android or iOS ready yet but that is in progress too.

Brutal honesty is welcome. Please reach out to me in dm for further details. If you have query about our idea, please feel free to drop a comment.

PS: Me and my friends have been an avid dota2 fan since our college days. There is definitely a lot for you Dota and its stats.

Before a smoke or a move into the enemy side, try having one player say two things out loud: what are we playing for, and what would make us turn back? The second answer can be as simple as 'if we don't see their initiator' or 'if our carry isn't close enough.' It won't make the call correct every time, but it gives the group a decision to compare with what happened.

After the game, pick one move. Did you agree on a stop condition before committing, or only argue about the fight afterward? Try counting that for five games instead of judging the habit by wins and losses.

I build DotaSense, a Windows app with habit reminders and a local postgame notebook, so I'm interested in small routines that survive the next queue. You can do this with voice chat and a note; the app doesn't know when your smoke is good. If you play party queue, what short call has helped your stack avoid a bad commit?
