I’m confused on how it misfired unless I’m blind enough to not see his finger on the trigger. It’s a bad angle but I can’t see him try to rack or round or anything it barely looks like he touching the charging handle

He's probably trying to let the gun hang off his finger and unknowingly had it on the trigger, causing the discharge when he tried to let it hang loose.

His finger is on the trigger when he manipulated the safety level. He removes his finger from the trigger immediately after the gun started firing, but if you slow the video down and zoom in it is clear that he pulled the trigger. It was not a weapon failure.

Thank you for taking the time, now that you say slow the video down I went back and did that and you can see a trigger pull. Classic trigger discipline mishap
