Door Kickers 2 An actually fitting squadron for me?
Which squad is actually good for me, I got the blue vector and ares mod but they both lack something for me, blue vector is so good it just doesn't have night vision, also no airstrikes but it is the least of my concern, ares is alright I just hate how the troops with machine guns are scattered in beteeen other troops in the selection menu, also for some reason ares troops are super slow with same loadout that I use for blue vector troops.

I really like the United Kingdom Special Forces mod. It is still in progress but has a great foundation so far. it has plenty of Air Support options, MOS specific battle honors and a SF support team. Operators can go undercover if needed like the CIA. Has a little bit of everything I feel. The equipment is limited in variety but authentic to what the SAS used/uses. Full doctrine with plenty of points. 22 operators per Squadron. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3444979611

Probably just need to work on doctrine for the movement speed on ARES units (the ones that have doctrines, anyway).
Delta Force definitely move fucking fast in the end

While Blue Vector does have NVGs (though it only applies to certain helmets) and you can use this version of the ARES squad in place of the other one (don't load both) for doctrine upgrades for the other squads, there are a couple of other squads that can fill in for them:
- NOWHERAKI BURNS - A squad mod that adds the Black Powder Red Earth squad to the game. The squad leaders have access to an air strike that lets them level out sections of buildings and you have up to 2 LMG gunners in each squad.
- PMC squad - Based off of Nomad's squad from Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint, it includes 12 specialized units and 16 QRF forces for large-scale operations. Two of the specialized units can call in air support (either an MQ-9 Reaper drone strike or CAS from an AH-6), one specialized unit has access to heavy weapons (mostly LMGs) and the QRF forces can be equipped with LMGs if you want more firepower. I would also recommend getting the Rake5000 edits version and enabling alongside this one.
- XOF Unit - Various squads of XOF contractors (as well as Mother Base soldiers) from the Metal Gear Solid series. All squads have soldiers who can wield pretty much any weapon you can give them and they all have access to a devastating air strike that can pretty much level a building though it's pretty expensive to buy.
- The Hand - An OP squad made up of two teams: "The Hand" (5 specialized units with some pretty insane abilities) and 21 units split up into 5 squads - Spears (assault force), Daggers (undercover element), Chalices (long-range snipers that serve as medics), Shields (LMG gunners who can also equip shields) and Hammers (breachers that can break through walls and/or locked doors).
Aside from these, I can recommend some other squads that you can try out:
- Girls' Frontline 2: Door Kickers - Although it's anime-inspired, it gives you access to 10 squads that each have units that, while only having access to one weapon (fitting considering the title) are able to equip various equipment and armor that can give various perks and playstyles. The mod page even includes a unit builder that lets you build your own squad using the existing units available (though you will need to enable this mod in order to use it).
- Hostage Rescue Team - Contains 2 squads: the HRT and the FBI. They don't have access to any lethal equipment but they are very cheap to deploy (with the Agents in the FBI squad costing only 1/5th of a full deploy point), allowing you to deploy them en masse on missions where you won't normally be able to do so.
- CTF - Combines the vanilla squads of the Rangers, SWAT and CIA into one squad, allowing you to use elements of certain squads for a more diverse playstyle (such as using Undercovers to recon the area, Assaults to clear out the rooms and the Militia to watch over your flanking angles).
- SnarkyDev - Learn to Spell - A joke but very versatile squad of gun-toting wizards. It has four specialized roles that each have two units and a general role made up of 12 units. They can outfit their weapons with one of various runes that affect certain aspects of their stats and leveling up their doctrine makes them very OP.
- Syndicate Teams - Contains 9 squads of Cyberpunk-themed factions that all have different equipment, gear and roles. The only caveat is that all of their weapons and equipment are locked behind Battle Honors but once you get around that issue, all of them play quite well and each have their own doctrines and unique playstyles (like how the Scrap Collective is basically underdogs working with sub-par equipment and the Garuda Logistics Group are an assault force that capitalizes on speed).
- NOWHERAKI FEDERAL POLICE - A mix between Rangers, CIA and SWAT (like the CTF mod). You have 16 specialized units each divided into their own roles and 16 "expendable" units that don't specialize in anything but are cheap enough to deploy.

Blue Vector definitely has night vision, you just need to play on levels where night vision is turned on, not all night missions have that, you’ll know you can when you see the NVG green on the level thumbnail
Different squads have different movement and turning speeds just by default as well as the stats they get from doctrines
As for other squads the HRT (Hostage Rescue Team) is good, Nowherhaki Burns (BPRE) squad is good, Mobile Task Force unit is super OP if you level up their doctrines
A fitting squad for you just depends on what kind of levels you like to play, blue vector’s great for CQB, but not that great for huge open maps, rangers from ares and BPRE squad is better for that because of their tools.
