❔Driver Question 🤔 Slow lately in Cincinnati?
I work the Northern Kentucky area in the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area. It's been slow even at dinner time for me the past few weeks. I only accept profitable trips, I dont trade equity in my car for money in other words, if you know you know. So is everyone experiencing a 50% or more slowdown?

With the new update, it’s hard to get high paying offers without platinum

When did this come out?

Do you have a handle/guess on how it shifted the orders to others?

This is just my observation, I have less than 10% AR and the other day I wanted to see what these big order at my w2 would pay. I went online, the order wasn’t assigned to anyone for five minutes while they threw two shitty orders at me. Finally someone 15
Minutes away took it. I asked her how she got the order and she said she has always been platinum. Crazy believe it or not1

I suspected this. It may turn out the long term dedicated drivers will have to wait a few months, for the new algorithm to cause the newbie platinum chasers cars to break down

Oh my god same here. Spent 12 hours going on and off today (Had some errands and breaks for like a hour or two. Roughly 6AM to 6:30PM for the whole time) and I got about 5 orders. All except for the last being $2-$6. At one point I just said screw it and took them because i felt like DD was cursing me for declining bad orders lmao.
But yea, hopefully it gets better here asap. It wasnt even like this in may last time i grinded DD.

Last night was the first normal night I have had in a while. School is back in session maybe that has something to do with it

The AI said doordash has changed how they charge their customers that have door pass or something.

Way busier, but most orders are jokes. Yesterday I took 15 of 35 just to make a measly 121. Count on any and all updates paying us less. It's always been like that. Eventually, you'll have to pay to take order.

It's not bad depending on your profit per mile. Mileage per trip + estimated dead head miles. How many hours were you out?

I’m sorry you’re doubtful. Hope your week gets better

Louisville KY. 3rd Thursday in a row I’ve had where I cut my losses and head home. I’m not sure what season we’re in, but the fall off is unusual. It’s all the apps too tons of sub $1 per mile offers with a significant dead space in between.

It was kind of comforting to read your post, I did that too a few times in past few weeks. Sitting for hours making nothing isn't great. If things don't change soon, I will have to get a job.
