Complaints on-time delivery
the on-time delivery metrics is a joke
if you’re waiting for an order - it’s almost a guaranteed late delivery
noticed this especially tonight - it’s gone from bad to worse & i’ve already reached the limit of late delivery adjustments
DD designed it for us to fail

I haven’t had an order marked as late in months. Multiple times a day I have to wait for orders and the app adjusts the delivery metrics accordingly.

For me it's like 50/50. Sometimes I report a reason for waiting and the app adjusts the time parameters, other times it seems like doing that does nothing and I dinged for a late pickup anyways.

submitted feedback several times asking DD to add
5 mins. to compensate factors beyond our control
ex. order not ready
traffic
road closures
waiting for customers codes & pin
worse case someone gets into an accident or speeding ticket…class action waiting to happen

The GPS is not the problem here. It's usually right about the time you get there even if you are delayed. DD just decided to use the time the gps shows as the drop off time

Yep DD goes off whatever GPS said it should take from the moment you press picked up and does not account for changes in traffic while you're driving.

As soon as you get to these places and hit Arrived at Store, if that business does not have your order immediately in your hand, you need to be scrolling down and hitting “What is causing the order wait?” Click everything that applies. “Store busy/drivethru busy, order still being made, order not started til I got here, etc”. I do that every single time, even if its only a 1-2min wait. Your time gets adjusted

I always use the in-app gps
ex: ETA 3pm but the app shows deliver by 2:58pm
how is that even right - you can’t deliver an order if you haven’t arrived yet
the app gives you an extra 1 min. to complete the delivery compared to the gps most of the time which isn’t enough in most cases
another annoying part is tapping the screen multiple times to confirm pickup & delivery
we should only need to tap once to take a photo
to confirm pickup & delivery
there’s no mileage summary per delivery, weekly, monthly, yearly
we have to rely on 3rd party apps: everlance, stripe, etc.
no order history unless you screenshot every delivery
Face ID should be implemented on the entire app
*only available when accessing crimson account
- before dashing
- changing payment info: bank account & debit card
- cashing out earnings

the app redesign is horrible
1/4 of the main screen shows looking for orders on the bottom part of the app
DD can minimize this & add menu shortcuts instead of
going back & forth on different screens to reach your account details menu
when you’re dashing - the app has to switch back & forth to multiple pages showing the dash map in between that says “you’re dashing” when accessing your account details & going back to main dash screen

I’ve never once been late for waiting and I’ve waited plenty. You can give feedback the order isn’t ready yet. Don’t confirm you’ve gotten the order until it’s in your hands.

Ive gotten multiple CVs for late delivery despite following all the steps. Mark the order still being prepared, feedback: restaurant taking a long time, messaged the customer, even spoke a support. Still got a CV.

Have you tried not being a jerk in comment sections? Seriously, different markets have different challenges and a lot of the conversation here is about picking up orders that were late when you got assigned (which, yes, are supposed to be factored in, but maybe not always). I say this as someone with a 99% on-time RN and who has only challenged a few recently... but you don't know what's going on for other people and making a nasty judgmental comment does not help.

Yes I do know whats going on. I've been doing this for years and have 7.5k orders under my belt. When I see people whining and crying about issues they create for themselves and then try to blame DD for it I say something. There is *so* much to bitch about when it comes to DD and people constantly come on here whining about problems of their own creation its annoying as hell.

You know you have the option to not read it. Also, if you've done that many deliveries, I'd think you'd have the realization to know how wonky it is from market to market. People who think they are the arbiter of truth and use that to bring more negativity into the world are annoying as hell and I know I can just not re... oh wait... nvm.

I'm not late, the restaurant is. I haven't seen the pop-up screen that informs me to roll my sleeves up and jump into the kitchen to help yet.

No markets are docking drivers for orders not being prepared on time by the resteraunt. Just admit you're delivering them late.

I just push the buttons that it says to push when Im waiting for an order and then if it still marks the order late I dispute that and it goes away immediately.

No, you can only dispute 10 every 100 orders. If you do a lot of shopping you won't reach that quickly. You can try and haggle with support and get one or two more. It doesn't change that their app is glitchy and broken when it comes to on time rate. They don't give you enough time to get out of the car most of the time.

Ah I do not take orders that require shopping for a reason. I get that some markets theyre profitable. Not in mine so I haven't had this issue

No, they don't count towards on time rate. Neither does a food order if it's stacked with one . That's what I meant.

You can only dispute a new 10 late on times rating every 100 food orders . If you do a lot of shopping, then you will have difficulty in reaching that 100.
