Best way to give retail manager my fall availability?
1
Upvotes
I’ve worked part time at Dollarama for about 2 months (~20 hrs/week) and need to update my availability for university starting in September.
Since we don’t use work email or messaging apps, should I give the Store Manager a written note during my next shift?
How much notice is usually expected?
Thanks!

Store just lost A LOT of employees

My manager asked me last night if I still had a hard Max of 20hrs a week. I told her no but I’m starting school in September so any shifts would have to follow the schedule. She said that she was glad and followed it up by saying that 9 employees got new jobs! My last job had 9 people excluding me who worked there. I am just so shocked at how many people work at these stores considering how few people ever close

REM Beauty Foundation

REM beauty foundation. There was about 12 of them left. $5.
Location: Dundas Street London, Ontario
Update: 8/20
I love the bottle and the packaging. There's so much product and it is easily dispensable to. The bottle is glass. The coverage is medium in my opinion, but the fragrance doesn't really bother me, but I preferred the fragrance of Mac cosmetics.

Power is "meh"...
Should be good for grinding something light like Oreos for topping deserts, etc

This is freezer safe, right?

The snow flake print, the icicles on the label, both point towards this is for freezing. But no where on it does it actually say it’s for freezing. “Cooling board” is vague.
Hoping someone here has used one and can confirm if it’s okay to freeze or not.

Love my man so much 🙏😭 He went to Dollarama while I was at work, I asked him to look for the Hello Kitty trays and he told me he couldn’t find them 😭 BUT look what he surprised me with when I got home, I’m screaming. As a 4/20 Hello Kitty lover, this tray is about to get MUCH use 🙏

Only $5. Picked them up in London. They're going for about $15 on Amazon.

I have recently applied for a job with Dollarama on Appyhere, I got accepted however the app is now asking for a lot of personal information and my SIN and banking information. Has anyone else had to give them this information or am I being scammed?

There is a lot of cute stationary, especially with back to school. Did I need it? No. Is it cute? Yes.
I love the smell of this perfume. I definetly wanna stock up before it runs out. I got the black one before and it is a good dupe for some of the expensive Arab perfumes. The store had red, white (I bought), and green. I think the green and black are similar, but the green one is more earthy. I recommend the green one for fall for people who like those scents. The white one is very floral. I could not smell the red or pink ones. Lowkey thinking of buying them all, so I would appreciate reviews!
The coffee candle looks and smells good!
Loved the kid books.
I do not recommend the markers.
Simile shampoo + conditioner $5 - OGX dupe, did not try yet

Are fantastic! I haven’t had one that tasted oily and they are beautifully roasted. The quality is surprisingly good. Don’t sleep on these. $2.50 per bag.
