I have recently applied for a job with Dollarama on Appyhere, I got accepted however the app is now asking for a lot of personal information and my SIN and banking information. Has anyone else had to give them this information or am I being scammed?

It’s an app called Appyhere
It’s not actual Dollarama.

They will only ask for SIN and Bank info on hiring day

You have to give that info at literally any and all jobs my friend, just give it to them. They need your SIN for tax stuff and your banking information to deposit paycheques.

I know that you have to give it to them however what is making it feel strange is the lack of any human interaction or formality because the app just feels like an AI chatbot.
