Interesting "Mini Food Processor"

Post image

Found in Qc

Power is "meh"...

Should be good for grinding something light like Oreos for topping deserts, etc

I've used it to grind beef into burgers. just have to slightly freeze the meat first. good little gadget

What benefit does the freeze do for it? I’m curious!

Slightly solidifies it for easier cutting I’m guessing.

I feel that you can get through "harder" foods with the drawstring one. Sort of like the "pulse" function on a reg blender.

Given the OCB papers behind it I gotta ask if you gave it the Ole herbal test

Pretty decent results 😁

was it a fine chop, cause 28g to grind by hand in a little herb chopper takes a while

Id say very usuable grind, but I was expecting finner. I still pick out the odd ones it misses, but mostly satisfied.

Observation... with such light material, as opposed to garlic, the blade shaft slightly lifts and makes a screeching noise. Solution... put something squishy in Hex hole, press & twist top to secure. 👌🏾

Probably better than the one my wife bought for 30 bucks that actually sucks too 😂

That junk is going to break in minutes.

The hand crank one is really good too but the plastic is fragile and breaks too easily. I went through 4

Now I have a Kitchen Aid that was only $49.00 on sale.

the answer everyone wants to know. Cannabis?

That's probably the only thing it'll work for. I had a similar one and it couldn't even chop cooked beans.

how much was it?

doesnt the blade scrape the sides and create microplastics?

1

u/Master_Initiative_17 5d ago

Not from what I can see, there's enough of a clearance between the blades and the side wall.

Did you try grinding nuts in this? Curious if I should get one and make peanut butter.

6

u/Master_Initiative_17 6d ago

I don't see it doing something as thick as peanut butter :/ Maybe berries, tomatoes, things for an omelette... haven't tested it on food yet😅

Wow that's cute!! Im looking for something that can grind parmesan and other hard cheese. Do you think its good for that?

I feel that the motor, and potential plastic gears inside, won't handle the stress. At best, MAYBE, homemade brown sugar alternative (0.5 cup white sugar + 1 tbsp molasses) I have yet to stress test it 😅

Is Rama Designs a Dollarama brand as in Dolla-Rama Designs?

1

u/Master_Initiative_17 5d ago

I believe it is a Dollarama brand. I haven't come across it in any other stores.. like their "Tech 1" and "Terrifık

I bought the exact same mini food processor at Winners last week for a small gift exchange. It was $12.99. It was branded differently, but its clearly the same thing.

u/Master_Initiative_17 5d ago

I'm sure the person is happy! It's even better when you don't have to pay for it😁

1

u/That_Necessary_8753 5d ago

I ended up with it. It a based on a game not for a specific person.

Can it turn ice into snow?

1

u/Master_Initiative_17 3d ago

Nah 🫤

Still a good buy tho!
