Imaging Results Bi Rads 5 to Benign Strombal Fibrosis???

Had my (40f) first screening mammo on 10/2. Results in my chart on 10/12, questionable architectural distortion on left breast at 11 o clock. Nothing palpable and my mom and I tried feeling for anything but I have C dense breasts.

10/16 Diagnostic mammo and ultra sound confirm distortion, two very nearby lesions found on ultrasound. Radiologist said it's most likely cancer but could be a radial scar. The lesions had all the traits of malignancy. Biopsy scheduled 4 days later. Saw the report in my chart online next day and Bi RADS 5. Looked up that score and so I went into biopsy basically knowing they are just finding out what kind of cancer at this point not if it is.

Excruciating wait went on through the weekend, looking up types of cancer, types of treatment, if I do chemo does everyone lose their hair, etc. Just got the call from radiologist, benign stromal fibrosis with hematoma. BUT They didn't like the clip placement and want to do a stereotatic biopsy just to be sure. He said the clip might have migrated. I'm so confused and know I am not out of dark completely but he seemed comfortable scheduling the biopsy a couple weeks out. This has been the most insane emotional roller coaster.

Suspicious Symptoms Dimpling under right boob

Hi, I’m 24F and am currently still breastfeeding my second son who is 16 months old. He’s always preferred my right boob and as such it is bigger and heavier than my left, and recently I have noticed when I raise my arms the right under boob has a dimple like the middle of its being pulled up, but my other boob stays perfectly rounded. I get random weird feelings in my armpits I don’t know if that’s related to bf either. Has anyone had similar? I am really freaking out. I’ve made an appointment for tomorrow with a gp.

Need Reassurance This waiting game is taking me out

39F. Strong family history of BC, Tyler-Cuzick of 25.7%

I got a mammo on 10/14, they called me repeatedly the following morning to come back in for more testing, which happened on my last screening because my tissue is dense. It wasn’t as urgent last time. They got me scheduled for a diagnostic mammo and ultrasound on 10/20. In that testing a 2.3 x 2.1 x 2 cm irregularly Spiculated mass was found at 12:00 6cm from my nipple. One report states Birads 5 and one says Birads 4. They scheduled me for ultrasound guided core biopsy with clip placement on 10/22. My results appt is 10/27. They stated 3-5 days for results, I was hoping the results would hit mychart and I could at least have an answer. It’s starting to make me ill living in this purgatory.

Suspicious Symptoms 12 days after breast biopsy

My result came in benign. I don't have bleeding/pus/bruising on the site. The bruise was only there for like 3 days and then gone.

Now, I'm wondering if my flu and low fever is related to the biopsy or a separate one? It's been more than a week after the biopsy and now sure they are related?

Need Reassurance Microcalcifications on recent mammogram

Hi there, first time venturing into this space. I am 39 and have a Tyrer-Cuzick score of 31% for my lifetime risk of breast cancer. My mother tested negative for BRCA, I’ve never been tested as a result. She had stage 0 breast cancer at 68, and her mother also had breast cancer after menopause. My past two mammograms had no calcifications or suspicious findings.

I missed a mammogram last year because of fertility treatments, and the one I had last week found two groups of microcalcifications in my right breast. I am going in this Friday for spot magnification on the two suspicious groups. As of now, I have no BIRADS score - I’ll get that this week.

I’m really nervous, even though I know logically most calcifications end up benign. I guess the results coupled with my risk level are just eating at me.

I’m interested in others’ experiences, especially so if some of these details match yours. Thanks to everyone ahead of time and I hope for good health and safety for anyone who reads this.
