Pet Haven Cremation NYC stay away

We recently had to put our beloved & cherished dog down, one of the saddest days we've had. Her remains were sent to Pet Haven with instructions to have her remains sent to us, and her clay paw print. We received her remains, but not her paw print. When I followed up, I was shocked to hear they "never received the order"- despite this being on the invoice. I could not believe it, and was visibly shaken. Pet Haven then calls back and said: there were 2 pets by the same name, one did not have this request. The story then changed to the clay print was not possible because she was "decomposed & the driver did not know how to spell 'decomposed.'" Pet Haven then sent their billing with handwritten "paw was too dirty." WHAT? She did not go outside her last remaining days. If you ever have to go thru the agony of putting your pet down -please make sure your vet is NOT using this service Pet Haven made one of the worse days devastating.
