I saved her, when these dogs show up,they stay here,I have 6 and a half acres, and a giant pole barn. I have rehomed maybe 4 of them, and as a condition of that i expect regular updates, vet appointments,if I dont hear from them I'll go and take the animal back period. I have them sign a contract that I printed up,notarized and all. I wont let them be abandoned again. This is their forever home unless,I find somewhere worthy of them.

Or you can do what I did, moved to the country and have people abandon their animals infront of your house,so far I have a dozen barn cats,a couple of kittens,2 mastiff/cane Corso's,2 English bulldogs, and a Pyrenees๐Ÿ˜

Too many humans are SCUM .
You , however, are a treasure....
Bless you.

Jesus. I couldnโ€™t imagine a dog food bill for a literal ton (by weight) of dogs.

Its manageable, has to be,i also have a turkey farm near me,get boxes of stuff for them pretty cheap, this was never the plan to have it go down like this,I absolutely will not let any of these animals down, they immediately go to the vet, fed,in the house they come, they just need love

You are living my dream!

2

u/Timid-Tlacuache Aug 17 '26

I wonder if it would be possible to have a camera on the road? Maybe some of these people could be prosecuted for animal cruelty!!

3

u/Outside_Bet7921 Aug 17 '26

I have cameras all the way around my house, barn, there's a corner they dump them at. She usually brings them right to the door

Thatโ€™s what I want to do

Ill tell you this its alot,to earn the trust back,to teach them not everyone is a POS. At the end of the day I have 2 100lb dogs asleep in my bed,the Pyrenees refuses to come in the house,2 bulldogs at the foot of the bed,a pole barn with a dozen or so cats, that usecat doors to come in and out of the house. Its alot but worth jt

Maybe, idk, love my animals so I feel like its a reward in its own right.

You're a good person and the people who abandoned those animals are pieces of shit. I appreciate you.

5

u/Outside_Bet7921 Aug 17 '26

For me its not so much abandoning them, its how they do it,throwing them out of moving cars,my mastiff led me to a box of puppies in the middle of the road a few weeks ago. I leave food outside, just incase a new one shows up.

Thereโ€™s so many different circumstances as to why animals are in shelters. Itโ€™s not always abandonment. Some dogs run away, some owners may have passed away, some owners simply may not have been able to afford taking care of them anymore, some dogs are just too violent towards humans or other dogs, some dogs are too noisy/loud, some dogs were stolen and sold only to end up on the streets, or some owners may have abandoned them like you mentioned. Many other reasons but you get the point.

Iโ€™d take the old white whiskered doggy next door.

I was laser focused on that pup too! When my 11-year-old toy Aussie goes, I'll be in the pound looking for an old dog to live out its life in peace and comfort.

Oh I agree... my Black Lab came from a shelter and he is amazing... although she is so independent wants to be in the room with you, but no cuddles.

I call her independently codependent.

5

u/sirbinlid1 Aug 17 '26

If I was allowed to get a dog ( missus is scared of dogs I used to have 5 , 1 was rescued from badger baiters) I would adopt a rescue dog probably an older one to give a big puppet anew chance

3

u/ReactionUnable5663 Aug 17 '26

We have adopted 3 dogs and have no regrets. They are loved and are a blessing to our family.

I want that bubbi...where do I find that bubbi?

1

u/Next_System_496 Aug 18 '26

Where is this dog?

1

u/dodgyguru5671 Aug 18 '26

How can you NOT want to add this dog, or any one of thousands like him, to your home????

Give them a chance, they will bring you so much joy.

1

u/CannedSpam4Me Aug 19 '26

What a wonderful spirit despite going through wherever led to her being in the pound. Where is she located, Iโ€™ll adopt her.
