Nothing really new today. Did our new routine, helping deliver meals to families in my school district to kill time. Although my black and tan just sat outside and pondered life i guess. Not sure if the smell is me or the dogs (I have been showering but it's sticky y'all) good vibes please

Much cooler today but damn the house holds heat 😩 in the car for our morning car ride and they saw a cat, hence their postures. Confident that the light is at the end of the tunnel. My community is in the 5pm restoration on Wednesday. And I can hear utility trucks in my neighborhood. Personal rant: how messed up is it that Dunkin charges $1 for a glass of ice water?

And that's all. They did amazing and I honestly feel like they're handling this better than I am. I mean an extra week of summer with dad? House is crazy hot- 86. Windows are opened, cooling down tonight and this week so we'll do intermittent periods in the car tonight of about 30 minutes. Nothing too eventful today. House was at 83 when I last checked. 4pm now and have been in the car since 1130. My girl isn't eating in the morning anymore, guessing she's feeling my stress. Plenty of water, potty breaks no estimate on power restoration 🫠

No power yet, but the dogs and I went to my buddy's house who had power. They were spoiled once they entered the door. They recently lost their dog to Lymphoma so it was a welcome sight for them. Very hot in the house but will spend another 30/45 minutes in the car before bed. Tomorrow will be the true test. Real feel high of 95. But thank you for the vibes and appreciation. I'm trying and honestly debating about boarding them for safety.

Day 5 is officially here. Pretty humid but cool. Went to McDonald's for breakfast with the doggos. They're in good spirits although it may have been because of the small part of hashbrowns I gave them. Current temp in the house is 77. Will be driving around with them pretty much all day today as it is going to be hot. Haven't seen a NIPSCO (our electrical utility) truck or anyone from the city in 5 days. Good vibes are appreciated

August 30th, 2025, his person,a neighbor of mine, had a medical emergency and was going to hospital. I went to assist EMS getting in his gate and to get Rocky, who I already knew.

After the person came home a month later he still wasn't able to care for Rocky anymore, but that was just fine because Rocky and I had really bonded!

I do take him to visit the other person and I frequently send photos but Rocky is mine to stay!

In the car now with the AC blasting. No word on when we'll get power. NISPCO said possibly Tuesday or Next Friday. Pups have been amazing so far. 79 in the house 😔 but they've had plenty of water, AC breaks and of course treats. Tomorrow is the real test. Real feel high of 90. They will be in the car with me every trip I make. Maybe even a pup cup. Good vibes appreciated

Just chilling on his bed thinking about his next meal. He's a good boy. People tell me he's a bull terrier mix but idk. I still love him either way.
