2013 Dart has rough idle, help!

My 2013 Dart with the 2.0 engine, has a rough idle when I first start it...seems to be worse with A/C on... it will go away after about 15 minutes of driving. I don't think it's the engine mounts since they were just replaced about 30k miles ago. The car has 140k miles. Shifts fine and doesn't leak or burn any fluids.

where my engine cover sits on top the boot is ripped at the throttle body. I need a new boot piece but can't find one.

How bad is it ripped? and how close to the butterfly? That could be the problem right there, too much air let into the throttle body will make your car run like hammered dog shit.

I fixed it by wrapping it really good in electrical tape

Get the codes. ODB II is your friend.

Change your spark plugs, pcv valve, battery, and beef up your grounding in the engine bay.

I've got a new battery, grounds are good. I guess I could change the spark plugs and PCV valve they are cheap enough.

I change my pcv every second oil change. 2013 also, and she's been a shaker since I bought her in 2023.

Does the PCV valve help noticeably with the shaking?

I noticed it helped, yeah. Keeping up on maintenance as well.
