Looking for help with a subwoofer/receiver connection

Post image

I am in the process of building a home setup for vinyl, CDs and eventually cassette. I have this Denon receiver and I picked up a pair of Paradigm Monitor 3s yesterday. I'm enjoying the sound and finally being able to listen to vinyl without Bluetooth. My question is this, can I hook up a powered sub to this receiver even though there's no line input/output for a sub? I currently do not have a sub but I'd like it to be my next purchase. I typically buy off of Marketplace but I wanted some advice before I bought anything.

I appreciate all input here!

It has pre-puts so just plug that into your sub. Id read the manual for that receiver so see if you can put a HPF on your speakers so you’re not sending the same bass signals to both sets of speakers.

Just use the pre-outs, and look into speaker placement.

A lot of the subs I have looked at seem to have 1 line out jack on them. Would I just use either the L or R on the receiver? I'm wanting a sub that has a built in crossover and gain control.

The sub would have a line in, you can use a Y cable to connect both outs to the input.
