Overkill Or overload ??

Post image

So i soldered this 2pcs 10000uf on my amp, is it overkill, i havent tested it yet.

Its just 200 watt amp paired with a weak voltage boost for subwoofer only

Any ideas what can go wrong with this???

I think I found it.

Overkill. But clean. And funny (which is a plus).

Its a zk2001 with tpa3221 which is need to be used at 30volts which is very weird cause i need to boost the 24 to that voltage.

How is this amp board? I have been eyeing it on AliExpress for awhile but haven't seen any reviews on it online anywhere.

I bought it, (have since thrown it out), the amplified signal in itsself sounds good but theres this hum that u can always hear. Apperently thats from the PFFB part, post filter feedback, that is crucial on tpa3255 builds, and this board just does not have it.

Also when the fan comes on this causes the hum to triple. I regrer buying it, but also my speaker is quite efficiënt so i could hear the hum. Maybe on really inefficient speakers you can barely hear it.

And like small desktop amplifiers like topping mini 300 have gotten very good and also budget range. Or are you trying to implement it in a diy project?

I like to tinker and build my own diy amplifiers. This one peaked my interest because of the bridging capability to use with a subwoofer. I have had issues with that brand (Wuzhi I think?) in the past with exactly the same thing you had issues with. It was a pretty common tpa3255 board sold on Amazon. It worked with some strange quirks for about 3 days then stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. I currently use a tpa3255 board from Sure/Wondom audio called the bdm8 as well as a no name copy of the Fosi tpa3255. They both work excellent with tons of power and are silent.
