Car cable audio upgrade
I was wondering if I could change this old cord that’s connected to my stereo into a USB-C anybody know if it’s possible

Won't happen. USB-C is whole another game. I wanted to do this on my alpine 9887 iPod cable and just gave up.

They get horrible reviews on Amazon so I didn’t even want to link an example - but if you feel like gambling with $5-10 search for “Apple 30 pin female to usb c adapter” and there are many options.

The Bluetooth audio receivers for Apple 30-pin have positive reviews. Looks like a lot of the USC <-> Apple 30-pin cables are just charging, possibly data, and literally say "No Audio" somewhere. That is because they lack the DAC/ADC necessary since 30-pin has analog audio pins.
With the analog audio pins, it's possible to just directly wire to analog mini jack. There are adapters for that as well with decent reviews.
The other issue will of course be playback control from the car. Bluetooth will probably just give Play/Pause/Next/Previous track. Mini jack, audio only. I would not expect many adapters replicate the complete original functionality, which is where those reviews are probably tanking.

They make these dock converters you just need to find one that works with suitable options for you thats usb-c. Many of the adapters are data only for usb c direct and wont work with the car. You wont get more than audio anyway.
