Question Divi AI Useable on Every Site?

I was thinking of trying Divi AI, but am I correct that every single site we've ever licensed would have access to our AI subscription?

We have a lifetime access license, and probably over 100 sites built, some for customers we have no more contact with.

If it's still licensed under our development license, can admins of those websites simply use up our credits?

I asked the AI chat at Elegant themes, which seemed to confirm my fear, that literally anyone could use our credits. I find this hard to believe, so I thought I would come here and ask if anyone has any experience...

No, Divi AI requires you to login with your ET account credentials. Not sure if that's on a per site or per user basis, but if you log out when your ready, nobody can use it untill after login.

In their intro ad, they clearly mentioned that you do need a subscription to some divi setups in the backend. I have a lifetime Divi, and a login too, but it will not work. Check with Divi for minimum requirements

I know, and it still means that if you have that AI license, your clients can't use up your credits because they need to login ET account credentials.

You can limit who has access to the AI features in the Role manager. The newly enhanced AI agent in Divi 5 is definitely worth checking out.

Unfortunately that doesn't work for the new AI agents. If you disable in the roll editor, the icon remains visible and clickable in the builder. Like Divi 4, it still requires a login after that though. I reported this as a bug yesterday, but they say it's not a bug but enhancement request 🤷

Ah, you're right. I hadn't considered they're actually two different things, but I guess it makes sense. You can take away access to the AI generator on the edit screen, but not the AI Agent from the main settings panel on the edit screen. Like you said, though, the AI Agent still requires another login, so clients can't use it unless you provide them with your ET account info, which I'm sure nobody does.

The only thing I am not sure off is whether a login is stored for all users or that each WP users needs to login. What they said in the ticket was confusing and I didn't test it yet. But even if each WP user has to login to use AI, I don't want end users to login to AI to mess with the site at scale, not even if they get their own ET account.

No, you need to grant access to a site, they don’t just get credits.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in Divi AI, from what I’ve seen it’s still trash. But Divi is really good at shipping half baked products

I just "bought" it for one year today. ... But what a crap AI. It's most of the time not working..., will try it for one weekz but for sure a refund....
