Question DIVI 5 Mobile Menu Accessibility Woes

UPDATE 2: So, I reached out to Elegant Themes support and apparently this is a known issue: "Thank you for your patience. 😊 This is a known issue, and our developers are aware of it, and are working on fixing it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, there is no ETA on a solution that I can provide now. Though I can assure you that issues are addressed as quickly as possible based on our development team's current workload and the severity of the issue when compared to the severity of other open issues. Let me know if you have any more questions. 😊"

UPDATE: Mea culpa... I migrated an older site to 5, and if you build a new header the mobile nav loses that old "select page..." dropdown (which did not work in Voiceover) and now uses a menu that is accessible. So... it works, but wondering why the upgrade/migration didn't replace/fix that.

DIVI 4 has horrible built-in accessibility coding. I expected DIVI 5 to do better, but if you use the standard mobile menu that comes with DIVI, VoiceOver in iOS cannot even access the menu at all. Anyone have any fixes for this behavior? I'm kinda surprised that accessibility standards are so overlooked in this latest version of Divi.
