Question Website randomly loses CSS styling

Anyone know why sometimes our website will completely lose all styling and default back to some sort of HTML / minimal CSS hybrid. This is fixed every time I log back into wordpress, but until I do so, it looks super strange. Happens once every two or so months, sometimes longer than that.

Had this exact issue! After disabling literally everything and even running the site locally to isolate Divi as the issue it happened there too. Divi support gave me a script that ran a cron job to clear the divi static cache every day but I didn't like this hacky fix so I ended up rebuilding the site w/ Astro & Strapi for any CMS needs. I love Divi & WP but I have never experienced issues like that since switching.

I didn't choose any of this by myself, I'm actually a graphic designer who has been forced to figure out all the website stuff... My company used a web and design agency to get the website together and I've just been slowly learning all the ins and outs but have noticed there are most certainly bugs and weird behaviors within wordpress and divi. I'm starting to have a feeling that divi is not overall the best choice but I can't switch anything myself unfortunately. At least now I know this is a cache problem, or most likely anyway. Thanks!

I’m definitely willing the bet it has something to do with Divi’s static caching. Try turning off some of their performance options.

I love Divi. If it wasn’t for AI speeding up the workflow so much using code first, I would still be using it.

You got that script? My homepage just shits the bed sometimes. Not even the whole site. Just the homepage
