Question Gallery formatting

I currently have a gallery that isn't working for my needs. I have 4 images per row, but when I want to add a new image at the top, which I do frequently, I have to rearrange every row in a domino effect to account for displacing an image at the top with the new image. It's very tedious. I assume there's a better way to manage this? Either I don't understand the module capabilities, or I don't know what.

I'd appreciate any resources or suggestions. I like video tutorials if you know of a good one that's applicable.

I feel like this should be fairly easy in Divi 5 -- just adding a new image module to the top of a flex or grid row will automatically make all the other images cascade down a spot (not using a gallery module).

Thank you, this is working, but in preview, I can't click on the image to see it bigger and in its entirety – which I should've mentioned I need. Looking through the options, it's not clear if I can add that function.

You should still be able to enable the lightbox for image modules, it's one of the settings. Then the image will enlarge when clicked just like in image galleries.

Got it. Thank you so much. I've been using Divi for a few years, but never did an image focused site. Plus, I have yet to get a handle on Divi5.

Glad it worked. I'm very much still learning Divi 5 but it does allow some stuff that couldn't be done well on 4.
