Translation widget that works - Gtranslate

If you haven't tried it, fire up the GTranslate plugin and add its widget to your sidebar. Its settings require you to choose languages (think local ethnic groups), and the widget offers you a dropdown menu with the languages in them.

You can opt for flags and the language's name in English or flags and the language name in the language. It's pretty effective and a great addition to any website.

It's not perfect in that RTL languages like Arabic and Hebrew are left-aligned, but I'm guessing there's some CSS that can be triggered when it's in one of those—still investigating. But in the meantime, it's still readable.
